Now 4 teams left, I'm rooting for the Mavs. The team was in the pits until Cuban took over. He was a sports fan first, his passion for the game was refreshing to other owners who simply see it as a business. Go Mavs.
Also its matter of choosing the lesser of evils among all the teams that are left |

My last interest in the NBA this season is watching Shaq lose again. Then, we'll see you in October. |

I'm with ya! I want the Mavs to win, but I'm feeling like Detroit is gonna take it again. I wouldn't mind if they did though because I want Flip to finally get some due after he was screwed in Minny. Plus I'm hating PHX and MIA for obvious reasons. |

The only team left to root for is the Pistons to elimanate the Heat. As for the Mavs I hate them more then the Pistons.
Order of who I rather win the championship.
Pistons > Mavs > Suns > Heat
Suns actually almost got last, but Shaq still won out on that one. |

After the Lakers lost, I've been a NBA dropout. If the Mavs won it all they won't get any hate from me. Just say No to the Suns and Heat. |

At this point, all I can say is GO MAVS mofo! :}
No but seriously, I'd rather see a scmuck like Cuban win it all than see Snaq raise another banner. To hell with Miami. Thats not to say they will still win this series, but Det. has been looking like a broken car needing a fix for a while now. |

I think the Mavs will take it this year.
I didn't see it before but I have to admit that the Mavs are the best team left right now IMO. They convinced me of that with the way they handled the Spurs. They have that all around game that is needed to go all the way.
Seriously what team left that can take them out? The Suns? Nope! Both teams have similar games but Dallas can play D, and they don't rely heavily on the three.
What about the Pistons? Nope this is a tired team, they have been going deep into the season for the last couple of years and it is showing. Tired legs equal slower response time- that "world famous" D is gone and so is their jump shot. Run on them and keep them out of the paint and they are done.
Miami has the best chance out of the remaining teams to take out the Mavs but I don't think it's much of a chance. Their D is laughable, they are too slow and Shaq will be in foul trouble throughout the series. Run on them, limit their trips into the paint and they are done too. Shaq will probably go off just like Duncan and we know how that turned out for Duncan's team.
Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it. |

I am on the Mavs bandwagon for sure now based on the 4 teams remaining.
I can't stand Snaq and Wade (very talented and I was the first guy here propping him before his rookie season) has turned into a drama queen and whiner. So Miami must not win, no more titles for the Fat Boy, please.
Detroit is also a very annoying, overrated team. They are unwatchable for large stretches of the playoffs and I am tiring of Sheed's preening and ridiculous guarantees. I just wish the Lakers were allowed to use two hands defensively as Detroit is.
Phoenix I actually liked last season. I loved Amare's game and thought Nash was sensational after arriving from Phoenix. Of course, now I have soured on them big time. They still have some great players (Nash, Marion, Diaw, and that kook Raja Bell) and all that. But the flopping has become ridiculous, their no defensive, small ball style is gimmicky and cute but not becoming of a champion. Not to mention The Kook, Raja Bell is now in the top 5 most annoying players in the NBA.
Thus, that leaves Dallas. I do respect the way Nowitzki has raised his game, he has been fantastic in the playoffs and is showing a lot of heart and leadership by continually driving the ball and rebounding. You have to give him respect. JT, Howard, Stackhouse have all been off the hook also, even Deven Harris is showing flashes. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

I got some money on the Pistons so if they win I'll be most happy but if not then I'm for the Mavs. |

I would be on the mavs bandwagon if Dirk wasn't talking crap about Kobe earlier this season. And you just know Nash and Dirk call each other and (bleep) about Kobe. Obviously Suns and Heat are out so I'm left with the Pistons bandwagon and it hasn't gone well so far lost game 1 to the Heat. I love sheed though he needs to step up injured or not. |

Probably got a sprained nut from when Avery was employing the Whack-a-Cack offense. _________________ Game recognize game, Granddad. - Riley Freeman, The Boondocks |
