30GB + video
I'm impressed. Didn't think I really ever wanted, nor needed one... but now that I have it... WOW!
So where's the best place to download free video content (besides the obvious bittorrent)?
I did find this useful app, after coming close to throwing the damn thing out the window, trying to rip a few CDs onto it. |

Sorry, I just think IPOD is overpriced for what it does and it's not innovative at all. _________________ I'm like a Hadouken, down-right Fierce! |

Well, I looked at a lot of the other mp3 players, found some cheaper... found some that did as much and more. However, I also took into account the add-ons and support by the rest of industry... and the iPod wins hands down. |

iPods are cool if you like all the additional add-ons and can actually afford them. I have a nano, which I havent' really used much, and I'm less than satisified with the process of transferring music into the player, and then later, updating it with different music. The iTunes/Quicktime combo kills my computer.
That being said, I like the user interface the most of all the mp3 players. That's one of the main reasons I believe the iPod continues to handle its business in the market, because they're pretty user-friendly. Even my parents, who aren't so tech-savvy, have figured out and enjoy playing around with the iPod with their music. |

I'm telling you... try that link in my 1st post.
I downloaded that program, installed it and am ripping/loading CDs in bunches. It automates the whole process and deletes the itunes crap afterwords, saving you all that hard drive space. I wanted the music on my iPod... not on my computer. The process prior to that program had me contemplating taking the thing back and getting my money. Once I installed the program... I couldn't be happier.

love my ipod..Dont have the video one since i think its pointless, however it beats carrying a buttload of CDs around.
The 20 and 30 gig pods suck ass for Gym purposes. I bought an RCA lyra(i think) for my little brother and that thing is sweet. _________________ I will HAVE SOME LOVE for Kwame..(keep it up big man) |

I have one too, the 4th Generation non color screen one, one of the best investments ive made. You can always use Mirc, and download music video's from that client, and their are tutorials on the net , im sure, that would show you how too convert it too the ipod's format.
*Their were rumours apple was going too release the true Next generation ipod, this year but not sure if it will be anymore. It's supposed too have a new interface, with a touchpad screen, and the video is supposed too play on the whole ipod, hence a touch pad. |

The apple earpod's ill admit are the cheapest part of the system, they really need too upgrade those things. My old ipod ones broke recently after a 1.5 years, while it lasted, it could be better. I bought a great pair of earbuds, their phillips, but have rounded gell tubes on them, that allow the sound too go further into your ear, it was about 15 dollars, i think their best u can get , unless your willing too go into the 100 + dollar range for the shure brand etc. |

wow? how can he get ripped off? for the price roughly 299.99 he got himself a portable video and music player that can have up to 30 GB of music and videos? So tell me Zhengi.. what would you invest your money in? what type of portable (hey I'm cooler than the Ipod) system would you get? With what Apple is coming out with plus other companies the Ipod is very supported by the industry. Heck I got rid of my music keg in my car and have a 60 gb Ipod connected to my auto stereo. _________________ Want Some Pancakes? |

I'll have to give it a try. Do you know if that works for mp3s already on the computer? Or, just for ripping music from CDs? |

I'm not big into music, so I have no need for one. One of those, cold and emotionless people who are too wrapped up in their thoughts to listen to music.
However, my sister has one, and it's great, if only for the idea of storing that many songs onto the damn thing. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. Thinking of buying one because there is a lot of great music out there and well some days i feel like listening to this CD but also feel like listening to little of another CD and mix it with a little more of anther CD but damn CD's only let me burn like 20-21 tracks... that's not enough for me!!! I have music that I've download but still haven't had the chance to listen to it because its on my computer... Plus cant really listen (by listening i mean get into the lyrics of the song and stuff) while I'm in the computer LGing, OTRing, AIM, MSN, etc...
So probably gonna get one soon... Is it better to buy it online or go to the store? _________________ PDTP: where legends are made
