Congrats to the Big Fella for making it back to the Finals.

What a great game tonight!

I know some other Lakers fans feel like jilted, fat, moustached girlfriends whose main man left them for someone else, but I for one hope Shaq wins another ring.

I'd still take Superman over Kwame & Lamar, and I can guarantee you that Miami would not be in the finals if they had Kwame & Lamar instead of Shaq.

Leadership, post-presence, inside-out game...all of it incredibly valuable.

Hopefully we can find a center who can fill those shoes.

I give him credit. He feels he had to make a move, albeit for the wrong reasons, but I guess his move paid off. Congrats.

Why this response? You can't handle talking about Shaq? What do you do when you see him on TV? Cover your ears? Put pillows over your ears? Guess what...he exists, and he used to be a Laker. It's okay. You can handle it.

Well considering most people on this board(including myself and I'm a Pacers fan but can appreciate the Lakers from afar) despise Shaq for a variety of reasons( me I hate how the media feeds into his ego and is never called on his crap) the poster is calling a preemptive strike to the inevitable WW4 that will occur between those who support Shaq and those who despise him.

I want to thank the MODS for being smart enough to see that thie is NOT laker related and moved this garbage of a first rooke post from the highly viewed laker LOUNGE. They have averted WW III and kept the forum sane.

Very interesting that you decide to post your first messages right after Shaq goes to the finals...

Trust me,.......this is the last look he's (Shaq) gonna have at the LOB.

I give credit to Wade and crew because those guys really worked hard this year. Not to mention good old Riles. No matter what, Pat will always be part of the Laker family. To that end, congrats Pat!

Memo to Shaq:

You may be on your way to acquiring another ring but you'll never experience the "MAJESTY" of it as when you were a Mighty Laker.

Kobe and Crew will have their day in the sun............and soon!

Unless he wins the next series and brings back the title that he guaranteed 2 years ago, then he hasn't accomplished anything.

In my opinion.

And that is based on what????

I want the Lakers to win too but I will never make such a bold predictions. We have a long way to go and our new front office of Mitch and others have not proven themselves yet.

So please refrain from these " predictions"

^^^^ exactly

Shaquille is right there and maybe will be there in the next few years, especially if he and Riles keep getting the free agents they've been getting.

Lakers gotta lot of work ahead of them. Remember 3-12, we still suck.

Yeah, I got your salute right here fat man!
What kind of a wuzz make a thread to praise Shaq for getting into the finals? Do you also call and congrat your ex-girl friend who dumped you and then keep talking bad behind your back when something good happens to her?
