Just saw this on sports center. He was asked if he was a GM, where would he pick himself. He said top 3. First he would get a center, and that would be Shaq, no matter how old he is. Then it would either be him or LeBron as 2 or 3. I figured this might raise some eyebrows around here...or perhaps not.

Maybe that's why Kobe will be working out with Wade this summer......to drop some knowledge on this punk on who's the best player in the league.

Well think about it, I'm not trying to defend Wade but...

he's putting a team together as the GM. He picks Shaq as his center (because he has to say nice stuff about teammates), do you think he's going to say to put Kobe together with Shaq?

c'mon fellas.

Shaq + Kobe = back to back to back championship rings

I don't see how you can argue against that.

Why not? A humble person would have done it.

So did you have to wait for us to say all that before you threw us under the bus? If we're worse than the media, doesn't that make you worse than us?

It won't I have no problem with Wade saying he's great etc but own your arrogance even Rasheed does it and we all know he's full of (bleep).

But I can respect that because I'm not being told he's humble.

And jeopardize your relationship with a teammate who's ego bruises easily... no thank you...

Wade is not stupid.... he's knows who's ego needs to stroked...

And as a GM, would you put Kobe and Snaq on the same team again?

Yes. Kobe could play and Shaq could warm up the bench for Kobe and the starting C. After all, he fills at least two chairs on the bench.

It doesn't have to be just Kobe. It could be Shaq, LBJ, and KG. There you go. No worries about brusing the big ego.

As for putting Kobe and Shaq together, the two have supposedly reconciled. Make it work the 2nd time around cause they're both realizing the potential they had if they stuck around together.

Ya it would make a lot of sense to name three players that aren't you when the original questions was about him

He was building a team that HAD to include himself, so he picked a center first and then him and Lebron 2nd and 3rd.

And I reiterate. Wade sure is a humble guy. He's only the 2nd or 3rd best player over guys like Tim Duncan, KG, and Kobe.

Look at my handle, Runway8.... I am a huge Kobe fan, been accused of being the proverbial Kobe Jocker, but this is ridiculous. When a Kobe fan rolls his eyes at other Kobe fans, then you know it's pretty bad. I think if they asked an NBA player who was the greatest humanitarian of all time, and he answered Mother Teresa... some of you would call him a Kobe hater.

thread's pretty ridiculous. Insecurity at it's best if anything.

So much for being confident in your abilities. I guess being cocky is bad and disrespectful unless Kobe does it.

How do you think Shaq would feel, or how big of a story ESPN would make it if Wade said Shaq and Kobe should be on the same team?

Come on fellas. Use some sense here. Not everything anyone says it's a jab at Kobe. Makes us look bitter and insecure if anything.
