Yep. I'll gladly admit to being a 'hater' of street ball. There are some interesting things that happen every now and then, but if dribbling with your head was actually productive in an actual game, then I guess I'd start to care. But watching guys dribble like Curley Neal while the other team stands there, it's just not too exciting. Actually, Neal was fun... but then again, I was 12 when I saw them. Also, when did this standard crowd reaction begin? You know, guy dribbles with his shirt over his head, travels, double-dribbles, throws lob to guy who dunks, then hangs on the rim and the crowd starts jumping around and covering their mouths like they have spinach caught in their teeth and runs out on to the court to congratulate the guy. Oh Baby! |
