Not everyone can be completely honest in the media. Hell, they probably get all kinds of threats after voicing their honest opinion.

If you read have the posts in the LA Lounge on any dissenting opinions, you'd know what I'm talking about, and *this is just Lakers fans.*

Imagine having people all over the world call you and scream epithets while you are eating dinner with your kids. I'm sure its a pain. Everyone has gotten over-PCed. Even the players don't really want to get into specifics when they are interviewed. After a while, all these interviews are just "going through the motions."

You can see how Kerr tries to choose his words carefully when he talks. Did you see the Drexler interview? The closer they are tied to the league, the less the individual seems to want to really say to the media. They see how their words are spun around and turned into a hidden agenda, even if its just so someone else can impress his friend by putting down a celebrity.

What an insult to MJ, I guess now that it has become clear that Kobe will surpass Jordan, when all is said and done, they've realized that the Kobe/MJ comparisons are moot!

If they are starting to compare Wade to Jordan, then they are setting him up for the big fall. They love convince you that a player is going to be the next Jordan and then spend the rest of their career telling you why he isn't (an how stupid you are for thinking he could be).

The funny part is that Wade said that he thinks its dumb that people compare him to Jordan.

Many Laker fans forget, Kobe was in a similar position in being compare to MJ. Those comparisons were made prior to him winning a ring as well and often had Kobe in the same breath as MJ when he wasn't even starting on Lakers.

We all can remember the NBC hype of MJ vs Kobe in the All-Star game.

Grant Hill was another cat that had this comparison thrown upon him. He didn't do anything as well.

You can compare every player in the league to MJ but there will never be another Mike. Just some of the things he did and accomplished will never be surpassed.

Whether its truly forgetting, selective memory, or being overrun by 12 year olds, we'll never know.

Never say that, because up until Jan. 21, no one thought that anyone could score more than 60 in todays modern game. Anything is possible.

You are right that their will never be another MJ. Kobe is not MJ. But MJ is not Kobe and never will be. It is pointless to argue who is the best among the top players to play the game because when all is said and done, every one player had something better than the other, and some people value certain things more than others. Like saying that Lebron is better than Kobe just cause he can rebound and pass slightly better. If you value that, then maybe to you Lebron is better, but I value other things. The greatest player of all time will never be fact and anyone who tries to make it fact should be shot in the head several times.

But saying that Wade can be compared to Jordan is completely idiotic. You cant even make a case that he is better than Kobe, you are going to argue that he is better than MJ. The only players who have reached to a legacy comparable to MJ's in this league are Kobe, Shaq, Duncan.

RIGHT NOW THAT IS IT!!!!

Lebron and Wade are both punks who havent done squat. And Wade will not win a championship because the Heat are stuck with Snaqs mamoth contract for 5 years. Payton will age, Zo will age, Walker is 30, and Snaq is slowly declining more and more. This is the time to win, or else he will be stuck on a pretending team for a few more years.

Kind of ironic that Kerr seems to be forgetting how MJ could hit a shot outside of 10 feet from the hoop, if you ask me. Not only was Kerr a firsthand witness to MJ hitting big shots, Steve is a shooter himself. Oh well, I guess when Wade gets bailed out with foul calls for nearly all his missed shots to allow him to "shoot 70+%", people are going to say he is a good "shooter".

I guess Stevie also seems to think there is no difference between having Will Perdue/Bill Wennington/Luc Longley vs. having the "MDE" as your center. Wade, better than Jordan? Please. Right now, Wade shouldn't even be allowed to hold Jordan's jock. Wade
