Yup Pistons only ones to do it. And almost did it 2 years in a row if not for a Horry dagger. So a Laker/Shaq team only to allow that. |

Sorry, I'm not going to take any sides here. Shaq and the Heat are awful and most likely will not win a championship. Shaq needs to shut his damn mouth and work on his free throws and rebounding if he really wants to live up to his so-called "MDE" status. But insert Kobe into their little equation instead of Wade and I still don't see them beating the Mavs (though they would be better). The Heat roleplayers are a bad fit and the Mavs are just too good. Shaq "MDE" O'Neal is now 0-7 in the finals without Kobe, and Kobe is 0-0 without Shaq. |

you think if kobe was on this team, and shaq only took 5 shots they'd be saying it was the mav's defense? haha nope, it'd be selfish kobe. either way this scenario is implausible as kobe would have carried the team to the W. |

This goes to show you how lucky Detriot got in that one week in June in 2004. East is still weak and this is what they have to offer. Thats why i am still frustrated about 2004. Not the fact that we lost, but the fact that we lost to a lousy team like Detriot, who dont get me wrong, play well, but championship team, it just was a glitch to me. |

If Kobe was on the Heat right now and Shaq took 5 shots then you know where all the fingers would be pointing. Shaq would say something about guarding the yard only if he's fed, something like that... People will talk about how Kobe was 6-19 and needs to get everybody involve more. |

the media is acting like shaq has never faced a double team before haha. double teams usually do happen to good players. so shaq is MDE except for the last 2 minutes of the game, first half of the season, or when devin harris comes over to help out eric dampier. |

That would be funny sign to hold up at a game!!!! |
we need to find a lakers fan in miami. start a paypal fund and pay him to go to the next game and hold that sign up. preferably we'd have to raise enough money for a seat right behind the M.I.A. bench. |

You mean the series with a jump ball violation called on Shaq THE FIRST FOUR games of the series on the opening tap?
I guarantee Shaq hasn't been called for a jump ball violation four times since. That series was fixed, throw it out because it is irrelevant except for referencing the obvious NBA officiating fixes. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Replace Glitch with Fix and you about have it.
Just forget about that series, it was blatantly and obviously fixed and anyone who watches those games on tape cannot deny it. The Lakers weren't allowed to execute a jump ball, guard anyone or drive to the basket. Kind of hard to win that way. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

You should have heard me go on about the fallacy of the supposed Lakers vs Sacramento Game 6 fix in favor of the Lakers.
I probably used 1,500 of my posts here debunking that urban legend.
I am just getting started on the travesty that was the 2004 WWF Finals, errrr NBA Finals. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |
