Mason and Ireland state that Kobe will be on in minutes.
Will try to re-cap. |

Recap:
- Baby's doing great
- Does he watch the games now? Of course, I'm a fan. I like watching - observing - want to get better for next year
- Heat - any chance? Depends on who can control the style of play - Dallas has done a great job in 2 1/2 games - new mode of play - versatility is the key
- Wade - elite player? Yes, He's one of those guys who can take over the game and has a killer instinct.
- Shaq - older? Having a tough time playing through injuries - the Defense still needs to adjust to his sheer size - he doesn't have the same explosion - but still is a problem for the defense
- What happened in Phx series? It was a great learning experience for the team - next time the team will have more experience - on how to close out a team - still guys played extremely well - shame the season ended on that note
- Barkley - danger in texting? Nah - worked pretty well in my case. Charles and I have a close relationship - felt free to text him - didn't think he'd go on TV and talk about it
- Game 7? Wouldn't change anything. Scoring a lot of points would not have worked against Phx. Stuck to the plan that helped them to win
Biggest Need? Debatable - maybe veterans - but then again the young guys are also gaining experience
GARNETT? - "I don't know" "Sounds like a possibility" But "I don't know" Lot of fans want to see this - everywhere he goes people ask about him- he has a great relationship - KG - helped him with this first all star game - told him that he would get him a lob.
Father's Day - Kobe has a basketball clinic going on at Pan Pacific
World Cup? Yes he watches it - grew up in Italy but I'm USA. Brazilians will win the whole thing
Doesn't have his motorcycle anymore - sold it 1 1/2 years ago because of safety issues. Now doing things at a slower pace. Thinking of taking up Golf.
Dad is enjoying coaching the Sparks
Off -season - feeding competitiveness? Taken up Texas Hold Em. Plays at home with Vanessa and friends.

No problem guys.
Kobe sounded very relaxed and was very cordial and complementary to Shaq and Wade. Doesn't seem like he really has any rooting interest for that series.
As for KG - Sounded like Kobe would love for this to happen and that they have a great relationship.
It's good to hear that he has sold his motorcycle!
John Ireland is now saying that Kobe has been nothing but great to him in response to a caller and Mason calling Kobe a bad guy. |

No particular reason - just like most of the media. He did mention that Kobe's been on about 3 times now and that he likes him more each time. |

Agreed. With the recent talk of accidents involving athletes and motorcylces, I'm glad he gave his up. _________________ I'm like a Hadouken, down-right Fierce! |

Steve Mason is a lame. Didn't he used to jock the Lakers like Ireland before he picked up the Clippers gig? |
