Seriously. Its one thing for the NBA to ignore Kobe's accolades, but if 81pts in one game doesn't get you an ESPY...there needs to be a riot.
In fact, I think he should be nominated twice, once for 81pts in one game and again (against himself) for the 62 points in 3 qtrs against the WCF Champs.

okay, so Kobe is not one of the nominees for BEST MALE ATHLETE!! 
but at least Kobe is one of the nominees for BEST MOMENT, BEST NBA PLAYERS, UNDENIABLE PERFORMENCE let's vote for Kobe!!
Ronny is in the BEST COMBACK!!
And I am surprise that Kobe is not in BEST RECORD BREAKING PERFORMANCE!! |

Best NBA Player? Sure.
Undeniable Performance? Absolutely.
Best Moment? Not a chance in hell.
Jason McElwain wins it in a landslide.
Also, I wouldn't expect Ronny to beat out Bruschi in Best Comeback. I'm guessing most 'passive fans' won't know Ronny Turiaf's name. |
