He was on Screamin A. Smith's Quite Frankley and was asked who he thought would be the sleeper of this draft and he said shannon brown. I only bring this up because some mock drafts have us taking brown with the 26th pick should we stay there. I've seen him play and he's pretty good but I don't know about Brown being the sleeper pick of this draft. He also said Tyrus Thomas would be his #1 pick. Either way I'm looking forward to seeing what the Lakers do tomorrow.

I love how excited vitale gets, he's fun to listen to. But take everything he says with a grain of salt, every time he talks about a player he says "He's a PTP, a prime time player, he's awesome baby"

James White is the sleeper of this draft.

His last name maybe White, but he can jump out of a building.

Why am I not surprised he didn't say Saer Sene or any other non-NCAA player/ foreigner. Vitale would have died of a heart attack if Dirk won the title over his man-crush aka Wade.

So true. No high schoolers to rag on this draft so Dickie will, no doubt, concentrate on disparaging all the foreign players. He contributes absolutely nothing to every draft, but I suppose BSPN feels they need to trot him out because he is one of their biggest personalities.

Mad props for your honesty. I remember at one point Reece Gaines was neck-to-neck with Dwyane Wade in terms of draft projections, rather late in the NCAA season. I posted that couldn't fathom why anyone would take Gaines over Wade, and yet I was told by a rather very well-respected poster (who was really jocking Gaines) that Wade's game wouldn't mesh with Kobe.

I think my biggest blunder was wanting Olumide Oyedeji over Mark Madsen. Of course I didn't realize at the time that Oyedji was probably 4-5 years older than what his agent had proclaimed. When teams caught wind of that, he dropped like a rock on draft day, which made him look so compelling. Then again, Madsen was guaranteed anyway as a favor to Arn Tellum.
