It does appear odd. If they have no problem basically announcing that they were picking him #5, you would think they'd have no problem getting him in for a workout at least? How could you do that? Something tells me, he won't go #5. |

This crap drives me nuts when I'm trying to fill out my mock.
I didn't believe last year that Utah would actually take Deron Williams over the clearly better Chris Paul, but they did, and it was all based on a "promise."
Taking Williams at 5 makes zero sense for Atlanta when there's guaranteed to be a better player available, but if the guarantee was made, I have to go with it. |

I think most of the players in the draft could say the same thing too. Atlanta didn't workout but a couple of players. Some not even expected to go that high. |
