I have this problem that I can't seem to fix.

Here is the desktop LINK

I want to have a transparent background of the icons and the text, but can't figure it out.

Thanks in advance.

This will fix it.

Click on Start Menu >
Right Click My Computer and go to properties >
Go to Advanced >
Under Performence click on sentings >
From the list Click on
"Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop option"

And then Click OK and done.

I have both a PC and a mac.

Nope that didn't work either.

Are you sure? I did it and turned it off and it showed the thing you have then I turned it on and it was transparent again.

Oh yeah! Now it works, the problem was I was following the other guy's advice on locking the icons to the desktop thing and it was still checked, I unchecked it and now it looks fine. Thanks dudes for yer help.
