I'm in love with it. And for those of you that want a spell checker, it already comes with one built in. You can use it on any Forum, Myspace. Or anything.

Except, they strongly discourage use by the end-users.

I'll just wait until they come out with the final product.

Guys, I am having a lot of crashes in Firefox, particularly when I go to youtube

Any idea why? Is youtube not compatible with Firefox for some reason?

Is your version up to date? Mine works perfectly fine with youtube.

I just started having this problem about 2 days ago. I don't know what it is either. I actually pointed it out in a thread in the lounge (someone posted a youtube of Farmar), but no one responded. It's working okay now, but yesterday and the day before, it just kept crashing when I went to youtube.

Yeah, it is weird. I can view the clips, I seem to run into the problem when I try and exit the site.

I am pretty sure my computer is completely infested with viruses and spyware, every time I scan it I find more and more.

I have been using Firefox for a while now and never any slow pages, no pop-ups, no problems with youtube.

And virus-free!

for help with spyware, I would recomend the following programs:
Spybot Search and Destroy
Ad-Aware by Lavasoft
Both are free, and if you keep them updated they should keep your compl spyware free. Also, trend micro has a free online virus scanner on their website that you can use.

I use both of those plus Spyware Blaster. It is also free.

For those who use IE, also go to this web site to check if you have any viruses or spyware. If it can fix it for you, it will. If not, it will tell you how to rid yourself of the problems.

I can't get youtube to run in Firefox 1.5. The quicktime symbol just shows up.

I think it is a quicktime/Firefox issue because it won't play movie trailers either. Anyone have a suggestion on how to get around it?

Please help.

You shouldn't have any QuickTime related issues on YouTube since they use a Flash-based video player on their site, not QuickTime movies.

For YouTube, you need this
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

For movie trailers (on Apple's site and in other places) you'll want this
http://www.apple.com/quicktime
If you download from that link, you will get QuickTime and iTunes. If you just want QuickTime, go here
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/standalone.html

For others having the problems I did here is a great way to get everything fixed:

http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=206210

It is a great run down on how to configure the preferences.
