My sister live in El Cajon, near San Diego and said it reached 100 degrees yesterday. In spite of living in a posh neighborhood, homes go for $1 million up, no one has air conditioning!!! It rarely hits 80 during the year.

I was surprised when I heard the same (AC) about my friend's place in Carlsbad. They were "suffering" with temps in the mid 80s.

How can AC be an option?
