At the Buick Open, he's shot 6 under par 66 for all three rounds for a two stroke lead.

66-66-66-66 -6, -6, -6, -6 = -24

birdies 7, 7, 7, 7 = 28 total

record when leading after 54 holes = 36-3

record when leading after 54 by 2 = 21-0

50 Championships at age 30(The next nearest was 33 years old.)

His golf swing is better than it was in 2000. While he played better that was due to his putting and chipping. His swing right now is just a thing of beauty, and it is one that will last a long time. His old swing put pressure on his knees and back, but now he is more around the ball while swinging which puts pressure in his thigh muscles and hip. The only time he really (bleep) it now is when he dips his head because he swings too hard and his lower body outraces his upper body and he flies out of control. I think the PGA championship is a forgone conclusion.

In every round he had 7 birds, 10 pars, and one bogey. That's scary.

At this rate, Buick is going to be giving away a lot of cars.

Tiger is looking solid for the PGA. He shot a course record 65. He has a share of the lead at 14 under par after 3 rounds.

It's scary that he may not have even peaked yet; that he is just beginning to enter his true prime. The Majors record is in real trouble. It could go down before he is 35. One of the rare people who not only matches the hype, he ends up exceeding it. I don't think anyone could have predicted a career this dominant.

If he ever becomes a good come-from-behind player in tournaments, that would give him an extra edge that would be just plain sick.

Tiger is a fantastic come-from-behind player already.

He is already, in my opinion, the best golfer who has ever played. And he's only 30. Yes, Jack had more wins, etc., so you can say he had the best CAREER, but Woods will eclipse all that stuff, leaving no doubt.

Prime for a golfer is supposed to be 30-40. Jack reached major #12 when he was three years older than Tiger. Tiger just needs 6 more to tie Jack. Considering the fact that he won the last two, it might happen fairly quickly.

I have no clue what those scores mean, but all I know is that he's got game...

Thanks, angel for the info!

With Tiger's newfound course management and discipline, the majors next year look almost like a sure thing for him...

Masters (he can win there in his sleep when he is good...like right now)

Then, Oakmont, Carnoustie, and Southern Hills come up, and they are all precision golf courses. And right now, Tiger is more precise than anybody, just the fact that he can hit his 3-wood 300 and in the fairway damn near every time. Then, add in the fact that he is the best long iron player on tour, with his amazing short game

Grand Slam

I agree.

While the equipment and technology helps a lot now, his overall game is simply past solid. It is ridiculous, his short game is unreal and when he is putting well (which he often is) you can forget it.

No player besides Woods in the next 100 years will win 51 tourneys and 12 majors in my opinion. And that is what he has ALREADY done.

He just won #52 coming from behind. That's the fourth in a row.

Tiger was #7 overall in PGA tour wins at the beginning of the season. His previous win tied Billy Casper. This win ties him with Byron Nelson for #5 overall in career wins. Ten more wins will catch Arnold Palmer.

One of the announcers yesterday said he hadn't missed a put inside 8 feet all year. That is unreal!! I'd like to go 1 ROUND doing that!

There are a few guys who I suspect have used them. Certainly John Daly shows all the signs of using them in the past.

The funny thing is Tiger is publically in favor of testing.
