The dodgers have a really exciting young team this season. They will be the best team in the NL in a couple of years IMO. Dare I say that the dodgers this year are more exciting than the 2004 dodgers that depo demolished. They have a world of talent in the starting lineup and they still have talent in the farm. Guys like Kemp, LaRouche and Clayton Kershaw are still in the minors. I think that the black years -1 playoff victory since 88- of dodger baseball may finally be coming to an end.

On Thursday, July 27th, they were 7 games back and in last place.
Two weeks and 13 games later on Thursday, August 10th, they are a half game up and in 1st place.
Worst to first in a fortnight.

I'm going to tonight's game and Sunday's game. Sweeeeep!

Great win 2night. I don't want to get ahead of ourselves here, but this team has the heart of a champion. They easily could have folded after losing 13 of 14, but they bounced back with an 11 game winning streak. Now they have a 1 and a half game lead on the west. I'm not saying that the boys in blue are gonna win the whole thing, but they definitely have a never say die attitude and will make some noise in the playoffs. I really think we can beat the Cards, and I feel we can give the Mets a good run for their money. Let's go Blue!

JD Boo is the only thing holding us back now as all the cancers have been traded. Regardless the recent play has made me forget about the Lakers woes this offseason.

Maddux got another No Decision, but pitched brilliantly. The Dodgers won on a walk-off homer by Martin in the bottom of the 10th! Wooo!

Maddux in his prime had an ERA around 2.1. He was not overpowering, but could out-think you and hit spots. He obviously has something left. He has been contributing to wins, but I would like to see him break some records and move up some historical lists as a Dodger.

Wow!!! What a game!!! Vintage Maddux went pitch for pitch with Jason Schmidt. Too bad the blue couldn't get 1 run for The Proffesor. What a classic Dodgers/Giants game we witnessed today. Ethier had his most forgetable game today, but he'll bounce back. Let's sweep those fish Big Blue!!!

300 game winners are a rare bunch. If you won an average of 15 games per season, it would take 20 years to achieve that number. Maddux has 328 wins in 20 years and a lifetime ERA of 3.06. Maddux has had some great years.
