I mean seriously probably one of the greatest shows ever put out. I mean yea of course the Sorpranos is one of the greatest most definetly. Entourage is definetly making it's mark in t.v history also. Funny how it is based on the life of Mark Wahlberg too. Now Adrian Grenier(Vinny Chase) and his three buddies are mega stars now too. Especially this season 3 was probably one of my best t.v watching expieriences. From them opening the movie Aquaman, getting turned down by Warner for that Columbian Cocaine drug lord movie Median(The Pablo Escobar story), to mayham in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel, to making ThE Ramones movie which so happens to be one of my favorait punk bands. I mean they invented punk rock.
Entourage keeps their seasons at a non stop roll a coaster ride which makes the show a mega hit.

IMO Sopranos fell off last season a little bit. Some brilliant episodes but it was nothing like the earlier seasons.

I wonder whats happening next week on Entourage, if I were E and Vince Id be seriously pissed at Ari. Im guessing maybe Ari is fired and Bob was either bluffing about Warner Bros. or gets another studio to outbid them or something. That would be a cool cliffhanger to start Season 4, because they cant really get rid of Ari.

For me....Sopranos continuosly dropped in quality after each season. The first season was GREAT, but each successive season kept getting worse and worse. I still like the show....just a little dissappointed on how it turned out.

Love Entourage, but honestly, this season hasn't been as good. Don't know exactly why, but it seems to be missing the edge it has had the previous 2 seasons. Don't get me wrong, still a good show, but a little weaker this season.

Sopranos is one of the most overrated shows I've ever seen. I rented the first 3 or 4 seasons to see what all the hype was about. After the 1st season I was thinking maybe it's like a novel: slow development of the characters before getting to the good stuff. It never came.

Maybe part of the charm of Sopranos is the cliffhanger they leave you with after each episode, which are somewhat eliminated when you just rent the whole season. So maybe you just need to watch them weekly to really enjoy them. But even then, it's the oldest trick in the book to keep your viewers interested. I eventually just got tired of it and removed the remaining seasons from my netflix queue. Everything about that show just seemed so cliche and unoriginal. I'm a junky for movies and books about organized crime, but this was just a lot of fluff.

Entourage is in my queue. Hopefully it won't disappoint to the level Sopranos did.

For me, The Sopranos is like an example of art - being more real, than reality. There are hidden truths, that are revealed, for those who are willing to see, or hear. We know there are people like this, amongst us... We can see how their personalities developed, and how they interact, within their environment, and sub-culture, to which they were born. Most of all, we can examine how these people are like us.

Ziggy - Sopranos has a special place in my heart because I have grown up with friends who come from that sort of enviroment. The best thing about that show is how realistic it is. When I watched the first season - It just struck me how real it was. You have these mobsters who have normal, everyday lives and families. A totally different spin from what we saw in the movies. Much more real and true.

Very well thought out show. Also, suprisingly funny if you get to know all the charachters well ....

I think there's good reason to like just about all the HBO offerings. I don't touch network TV, but I'm parked in front of the tube on Sundays to catch Entourage and Deadwood. Lucky Louie is pretty funny too.

Can't wait for Bill Maher to be back on.

that's what you get for 2hours of sleep
