http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?gameId=260821102

NYY 12, BOS 4
NYY 14, BOS 11
NYY 13, BOS 5
NYY 8, BOS 5
NYY 2, BOS 1

The Red Sox were 1.5 games back on Friday. They now stand at 6.5 games back in the AL East. Ouch.

Bill Simmons must be bashing his head against a brick wall right now.

I love it.

Actually, I hate both teams so I just choose to jeer at whoever loses either way.

(I hope I don't do the same after the week is out.)

I'm not a Yankee fan...except when they play the Red Sox. I hate Boston teams. Celtics, Red Sox, Patriots. I love it when they suck. I'm hoping we can get a trifecta this year of all three of them missing the playoffs. Celtics already missed. The Red Sox are on the verge. Crossing my fingers for the Patriots.

Yes he is. He actually made in appearance in both dugouts before the series started from what I heard. Believe me, if he'd died, you would know.

Maybe so but if Dick Vitale was on his death bed, folks here would be partying like on they're in Cancun for spring break, believe me!

I got no problems with Gammons, I just hadn't any news on him for a few weeks and now his beloved team is possibly pushed from the playoff door in only a weekend series.

don't like what steinbrenner did with the team, but ill root for the yanks any day over the sox. 26 titles says it all. Sox fans want to blame their crappy playing over some curse. im tired of it.

Boston sports radio has been writing the Red Sox obituary the past 2 days. You should hear the fans screaming blaming everyone from players to coaches to managment.

I love it. And once the Yankees get Sheffield back, they will be even better.

Oh and did you all see the Sunday night game? 2 outs in the ninth inning and my boy Derek Jeter delivers a clutch rbi to tie the game. The Yankees then went on to win! I LOVE IT!!
