Didn't mean to blow smoke with my last post. I had just engaged ina discussion about this not too long ago and some young kid tried to pull a fast one and say rappers like Kurtis Blow, Run DMC, Sugarhill Gang were the best EVER. I doubted he had even heard more than one song from any of these dudes.... so I called him on it and I was right. I was born in the 70's... so I'm no stranger to that old school sound. Can see you really know and love that stuff JD. Just was trying to make sure I guess. Should have worded it more carefully... OF COURSE everyone is going to have different opinions on this. Wasn't my intention to start any Biggie/Tupac type heat.

I love west coast rap and i alays listen to the old school..... especially G Funk... however... Do any of you guys have love for The Game... other than the OG's of the west coast he's the only current rapper I like....
but as far as new mainstream it is the Game!!!

well.... of course i like the obvious as well... talib, gangstarr, em etc..
