don't call #9 -one -and -one- WADE. Call K.O.B.E !!! That would do it!

so the new emergency numbers are:
#8 if you need someone who can score 81pts in a single game.
or
#24: the new Kobe- MVP of the NBA, mature leader that helps RAD, Evans and Shommond to double digit-pts.

too bad the K-O-B-E line was off-line...
We coulda avoided the Quintruple Capts, the need for a go-to guy and clutch guy... the lack of outside shooting (or the 9-of-28 three point shooting nights)...

What, Kobe? He would ruin the chemistry. He can't play in such a team oriented system.

You only need one captain, not a tri-pod of overrated superstars that the media created, though Melo was the only legit captain.

All that talk - My bro in law kept saying I was hating on Wade cause I said he needs to stop carrying the ball, relying on the refs calls and get a mid range, 3 point range game.

Guess he won't say smack now. He also couldn't believe that I said Melo is a better player than Bron and Wade. Not as sensational, but definetly better. If could only keep his head during playoff games. Sigh.

KOBE AND LAMAR TO THE RESCUE!!!!!

Those two are two of the best fits for international play. Both likely would have been starters this year, and perhaps, both would have been the two best players. We know what Kobe would have done, and LO was the best player in Athens 2004 by FAR.

Most mediots won't admit it, but deep down they know Kobe's needed to win the Gold Medal in the Olympics.

LO was probably the best player in Athens 2004! That gives you a pretty good idea how pathetic TEAM USA was!

Not really, though they were a wreck. Mostly, it tells you how skilled Lamar Odom is. He's a major impact player in FIBA ball. All of these Euro bigs that are mobile can't do anything with LO, because he has the speed, strength, and length to really bother them. On the other end, they've never tried to guard someone as mobile, quick, or good at ball-handling/passing as LO.
