PostPosted: Thu Sep 07, 2006 5:55 pm    Post subject: WWE Possibly Bringing Back Kevin Nash and Scott Hall

There has been some talk at the WWE discussion table in regards to bringing back Kevin Nash, 47, and Scott Hall, 47 (48 next month). Should they return, the duo would come in to feud with DX once the McMahon vs. DX feud runs its course. The possibility of a "DX vs. NWO" feud seems to be much too hard to write off completely and that it should at least be considered.

As expected, there are some people within WWE who don't want anything to do with either Kevin Nash nor Scott Hall - all for different reasons. WWE sources are denying the possibility of The Outsiders returning to WWE, but they have admitted that the idea of them returning has been proposed within various circles.

Kevin Nash's TNA status is currently in limbo. If his contract hasn't run out already, it probably will soon. As for Scott Hall, in an interview with a Puerto Rico wrestling site back in June, he said that he was healthy and that he was training for a possible in-ring return.

I wish that match would happen too but Austin's last match is gonna be against Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania. They been talking about that match for about 2 years now. As for Rock he won't coming back. He's sticking to acting now. But D-Generation X Vs. nWo sound real interesting.

NWO ruled. It revolutionalized sports entertainment. DX came too because of the impact of NWO angle. NWO made wrestling about backstage stuff and non-wrestling that you see all over shows now. They barely wrestled. It was all propoganda, self-promotion and hype. No real substance in terms of wrestling.

However I can't watch wrestling anymore. It's the same old (bleep) done differently. It's boring now. I find it funny that they're trying to bring back tradional wrestling again. Too little, Too Late IMO.

WWE ain't the same without "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, The Rock and Mick Foley. Its cool that WWE brought back D-X, Jeff Hardy and quite possibly Nash & Hall. But it ain't the same without those 3.

That's it too.

Since the rock, they haven't had a superstar. It's like losing Kobe Bryant and then not getting another superstar after that ever again.

That's the WWE right now. They don't have some cash cow or someone they can put the company on.

They tried with Orton and a few other guys but none of them had the superstar impact.

Even the guy who's white but acts black (Forget his name right now) came close but kids tell me that alot of people hate him too (Ussually the older crowd, the kids love him)

They should just use the old character names should they return.

Big Daddy Cool Diesel
Razor Ramon

Hell, Henry Godwin is working dark matches right now trying to come back!

D-X is getting stale again. I'd hate to see them extend D-X's lifespan by bringing in nWo for a stable feud.

JD - Basically the 80's?

I thought the best time in wrestling was the late 90's. It was when the NWO was in it's peak in WCW, ECW doing it's hardcore thing but being recognized for it and at the same time Steve Austin vs Bret Hart was the main card for WWE. Bret Hart vs Shawn Micheals was great entertainment too especially when they made Bret turn Anti-American. I think it was 1996-1997.

Wrestling ruled those years. You saw the rising of Steve Austin, Arguably the most surreal story in the history of the buisness - Bret Hart getting screwed by Vince McMahon - in the WWE, along with the NWO (WCW) and ECW in their peaks.

It was awesome. Loved it then.

Hate it now

Did you seriously say Great Khali? The guy who can't wrestle at all? Always doing horrible at house shows, so bad that Vince McMahon pulled the Last Man Standing Match between Khali and Taker off the Summerslam card at the last minute? They quickly put that on Smackdown, and Khali got beat so he can leave.

Goldberg moaned and groaned in the WWE about how Vince McMahon is not letting him squash superstar after superstar like he did in WCW. His last match was with Brock Lesnar, who was also quitting WWE as well.

Word got out before Wrestlemania, and when they had their match... the fans crapped on them throughout the horrid match they put on. Both never to be seen again in a WWE ring. Thank goodness.

Bret got what he deserved. He refused to drop the title. He is still bitter about it. Kinda pathetic.

I do agree with you the lat 90's were the best. They pushed the envelope. Only thing missing was a healthy Shawn Michaels. The guy could carry anyone in a match. Hell, he even had a great match with Vader. Vader is almost as bad a wrestler as Hogan. He could've had some great matches with Austin and the Rock.

yeah those 2 ladder matches started to revolutionize the industry. Those matches are what led to the great TLC bouts between The Hardy's, Dudley's and Edge and Christian. Great matches.
