YAY!!!!!!!!!! The first televised preseason game. I can't wait to see Lamar, Sasha, Bynum, Farmar, Evans, Vlad & Kobe on the bench (the game is in Anaheim, California next to Kobe's house)

LTV starts at 6:30 PM

Game starts @ 7:00 PM on KCAL 9!

Can't wait 3.5 hours till LTV and 4 hours till tip off.

Mods might want to Sticky this.

I'm hoping Pinnock gets a chance to play tonight. I'm rooting for him to earn the 15th roster spot. Just comparing him to the other 3 guards he has ot beat out: he has the youth and athleticism over Mckie, makes Wafer's athleticism expendable (also plays with more energy), and has just as much basketball IQ as Green.

I don't think it's on. cable lady told me I could order it (and get nba tv) but the league pass doesn't start 'til the 31st.

I want to see Farmar, Bynum, Pinnock, Williams, Evans, Radmanovic get atleast 25 minutes. These players need playing time to develop in these games that don't count.

Right, but for people that don't live in LA you need to have the League Pass channel.

As far as I know pre-season games are free as a trial offer for League Pass. You shouldn't have to order it to get the game.

So, anybody know what channel it's on?

You guys are FANatical in the worst way. A meaningless game, when its only importance is for our scrubs to earn time or a roster spot while the best player aint even gonna play!!!

Kobe has had a bad run the past few years in pre season, always hurt and always misses the Pond games and the Japan games this summer where they love him.

We are FANaticals, but don't tell me you aren't excited to see Bynum and Farmar for 25 + minutes. Not to mention the new Sasha. "scrubs," nah...c'mon man show some passion and love. After like 3 months we finally get to see basketball...FINALLY.

I was interested to see the new and improved Sasha until I read a blurb somewhere that he has a sore foot!

Bynum, Turiaf, Evans is who I want to see the most contributions from as I expect them to be our best role players at some point this year. Farmar and Radman I've seen before and know what they can do.

It'll just be sweet to hear Stu's sweet vocals again, that always gets me revved for a season!!

About (bleep) time we're getting a game on TV. I'm glad I got some more tapes to record this. I just love watching the preseason, cos we get to see our younguns perform.

Speaking of Stu, this marks the FIFTH year of life without Chick.

I haven't considered myself a Clipper fan since Larry Brown was their coach. I loved that team!!! Manning, Hollywood Harper, Mark Jackson, etc.

As the great Chick Hearn would say, "That ain't no bulletin!" If we weren't fanatical, this site wouldn't be so popular. I would say 90% of the fans who post here are fanatical Laker fans. The site crashing upon BREAKING NEWS is the proof.

Fanatical and obsession, is there a difference? I only exhibit these feelings when my teams of interest are at their peak and can't seem to lose. Lakers haven't been at that level in over 3 years.

I have supported the Lakers through the lean later 70' and 90's.

That makes me a fan, not a fanatic.

Why would someone post on a Laker fan site that rooting for their team through thick and thin is fanatical?

Not a very bright thing to say. And indicative of more than just be a bandwagonner.
