Even at an 11,000 pre-season crowd, the Anaheim-sters seemed louder and more with it than the Staples bougeouise.
Of course, I live in The OC and it just seems logical to me! _________________ [b:7c818fb74e]Lebron who?[/b:7c818fb74e] |

It's not the avenue that is important. It's the type of crowd who can afford court side seats. _________________ I'm like a Hadouken, down-right Fierce! |

Get out of here with that! The Lakers aren't some B-team league that should be played in a craphole like the Pond. They're the Los Angeles Freakin Lakers, one of the best franchises in all of sports history.
Orange County can drool for them all they want, but that venue is not good enough. They belong in Los Angeles right where they are. |

I guess OC is more affluent on average than LA, but LA has more rich people and is close to more populated neighborhoods than Anaheim. |

Oh please, most people look at LA as filthy. Orange County, on the other hand, is one of the most desirable places to live in the country. |

The OC is nice, I like it there (but I live back east), but the Lakers belong to LA, in LA, and should always be in LA. |

However nice it would be for me since I live in OC, it's just not where the lakers belong their identity is with LA. The clippers however have no identity so they should be in Anaheim so OC can have its own bball team, that would be awesome. I'd still root for the lakers more though. |

Agreed completely. I live in OC, like 10 minutes from The Pond. I've been there several times as well as attending a few games at Staples. Staples is a better venue by far. And even if it wasn't, I would still favor it because like CabinCreek44 already said - they belong in LA. Period. |

news flash: this is more of a statement about the Staples crowd. Its too sedate for my taste....of course, the Los Angeles Lakers should always be! _________________ [b:7c818fb74e]Lebron who?[/b:7c818fb74e] |

Dear Dr. Buss,
Please move the Lakers to the Pond/Honda Center. I know you may be wondering what I am basing this descion off of. After viewing a preseason game, I believe that the Honda Center would be more properly suited for the Lakers. Please ignore all current contracts that you have with the Staples Center, all the revenue you get because of a big name like Staples Center, and all the nice box seats and courtside seats. Last nights preseason game really showed me the way.
That'll convince him! _________________ Double rings > Double rainbow |

No. it is the people who went, not the place. if the lakers had regular season games, only the same people could afford to go, because regular season tix are more expensive than pre-season. also why would they leave a 6 year old arena |
