HelpValue is just my short hand for all stats a player accrues other than points.

HV=Reb+Ast+Blk+Stl-TO

Efficency or MVP rating is a rating of total contribution, including shooting accuracy.

eff = (points + assists + rebounds + steals + blocks + field_goals + free_throws) - (turnovers + attempted_fieldgoals + attempted_freethrows):

So is the positive or negative # better in the efficency stat? I think I know, but it's been a long day and my brain is on cruise control.

How much PT will Evans get since he appears to be a "2" and "3" where Sasha/Kobe/Luke/LO/Vlad play?

How will Bynum do since Kwame is out 3 to 4 weeks and nobody knows when Mihm will return to action

Good to see this back, Pop.

Don't get too much feedback in this thread but rest assure it is useful for some posters like me who like looking at stats and stuff like that.

Thanks in advance for this season's work.

A negative eff is very rare and very bad. Not a good game by that player.

thanks Popcorn. I usually don't comment, but I habitually check your charts and stats to help get an objective measure of the game.
