imo tonights game is a must win.
Firstly, we need to win as many home games as possible. Also, Min is on a back to back - we have to take advantage of that. We also need to bounce back from the seattle game.
Some areas of concern is our defense. They have a pg, mike james, who can get to the basket. As you all know, it seems like teams have open lanes to our basket. Also, they have a guy like ricky davis that slashes. How will kobe handle that assingment? Or will we put Luke on him cause LO has to guard KG. How will we handle their bigs. Blount is a decent defender and we all know about KG. Bynum and Turiaf need to stay out of foul trouble.
All in all, I say we win this with the fact that Min played last night being a factor. Thoughts? _________________ "I wish I could draw a picture of the look on their faces..... Lakers will win. They will be strong at home this year.
....besides that, we're an 8 point favorite to win. Vagas rarely screws up. |

I don't see why we can't win if players stay aggressive. _________________ Member of the "Go get them MF's LO!" Movement |

Lakers will win.
Huge game from Lamar and Kobe, both. _________________ "Offensive rebounding? Bynum at 19 has passed Duncan at 31." - parsons777 |

I favor our bench a lot more than the T'wolves--should be a good reason why we win. |

It's game 5 of an 82 game season and we're already talking about must-win? People need to calm the hell down. _________________ Game recognize game, Granddad. - Riley Freeman, The Boondocks |

its the mediocre teams that I'm worried about. For whatever reason, Lakers always plays down to their level and end up loosing. See games against th hawks, magic... etc. |

breath. exhale. relax. its not a must win the sense that if we don't win the season is over  . all i meant is that if were gonna be good this year these are the teams we need to beat. did you even read the posts in this thread. _________________ "I wish I could draw a picture of the look on their faces..... I'd love to see the Lakers emphasize defense tonight.
It'll also be interesting to see if PJ continues to fiddle with the lineup like he did last game and what kind of combinations he can come up with.
I'll also be looking for how Sasha and Smush react to PJ's comments about Farmar threatening peoples' playing time.
And of course...how KB has progressed in his conditioning since he's now 3 games into his return... |

if we lose, expect ESPN articles saying that the lakers are better without kobe. lets blow them out. give KG a reason 2 leave minni.
Lakers-152 T-Wolves-91 Lamar scores 54/10/12 4 a triple double and holds KG to 11 points. |

I say the lakers win by less than 10 and Kobe has a double/double via points & rebounds. |
