Looks like the Lakers wore them out.

Warriors 91
Jazz 78

In Golden State.

After the game yesterday, I'm not surprised. Both teams(lakers and jazz) left everything out on the court.

Wow! Golden State had a back to back game too. Execpt they got the better back to back. Utah got the worse back to back. I mean don't you think this back to back is better?

- Road Game then Home Game
Instead of...
- Home Game then Road Game.

Because if you lose on the Road (Like the Warriors did to the Nuggets), the home game... doesn't matter if it's back to back, it should energize you... Thanks to the fans. But if you went from home to the road, you got that "travel bug" and it's not your home floor.

If you study teams based on the evidence, the second of a back-to-back is typically hard to win. It is a fact that teams tend to lose more when they don't have as much rest. Young players especially have problems with back-to-backs. Look at Andrew's statistics some time. Also consider there was no time to do an indepth analysis of their patterns of play. Road games are tougher too. Losing to a good team on the road is not uncommon. If you look at all the teams at the close of the season, you will find they do better at home than on the road.

I tell you this drives me nuts. They get up for the Lakers but not other teams? Arrgghh This is precisely why I say they won't do jack this year and I doubt they beat us again this year.

Back-to-back games? Humph! They are a young squad so it shouldn't be any excuses.

Funny. The Warriors used a zone and held the Jazz under 80. But Phil was a moron for using it on Friday.

Jazz fans are a bit like Kings fans in some ways. NBA is the only major league professional sports in their town. Jordan and the Bulls stuffed their Championship hopes in the 1990s. Kobe and the Lakers stuffed their hopes in more recent times. Kings and Jazz fans in general hate L.A., because they hate losing.

you noticed that too??? Hell, even my old lady wondered why they went to zone so late in the game. Spells doom on the rebounding.

I was being sarcastic. The zone works great against the Jazz because their entire offense is predicated on pick/roll, back picks, and flex cuts. All of those are easier to defend with the zone. IMO it was a good move by Phil and the only gripe I had was that Phil waited so long to use it.

I predict a 4-game losing streak for Utah.

1. Warriors
2. Magic
3. Spurs (tomorrow)
4. Lakers (thursday)

They have us on the 2nd night of back-to-back. Must take advantage of their tired legs. Hopefully they play a tight game w/ the spurs.

if we go on a 7 gme win streak then we would beat both the Jazz and Spurs and take over 1st all by our lonesome.

The Jazz seemed to neutralize the inside game again, but the Lakers pressured them the entire first half. Kobe utterly frustrated them in the third quarter. It's amazing how the Lakers dominated the team with the best record in the NBA. Kirilenko will likely choose his words carefully if he ever mentions Kobe again.
