Can I get some help?
I was reading a girls forum (no comment) and I came across a very weird predicament. I was reading a post about them talking about youtube penis videos (how to put a condom on etc) and they were talking about how horny it made them. Their comments made me hard. I cannot explain this.
I'm straight. _________________ RIP Kobe |

Up early and now celebrating the holiday by watching the greatest Christmas movie of all time.
Die Hard. Hour and a half of German terrorists, John McClane and the Nakatomi Plaza baby. |

In hope that you are all in christmas spirit...
Does somebody know somebody who knows a place where a student can stay for cheap in San Francisco during July and August 2016?
My son is going to spend his internship there. _________________ .

Looking for a cheap place to stay in SF. You might try just outside the city in say, Fresno.
j/k, I have no idea how to help you. _________________ Not a legend |

Some time ago I would have thought of Alcatraz.... But it is probably too expensive these days.
Thanks for giving it a thought, though. _________________ .

In San Francisco proper? Try subletting at UC Berkeley for students studying abroad or vacationing. Depends on where the commute is but my buddy at Cal did about 25-30 min commute (through BART) to his work, which is reasonable all things considered. I'd recommend that path, personally. Otherwise good luck with finding a place in SF proper.
Then again, long commutes and expensive rent are all part of the Bay Area experience |

Man I could use some Yogurtland right now. Speaking of which, they got rid of the strawberry water, at least at the Yogurtland I go to (the OG one in Irvine) and I'm still a little bit salty about that |

30 min commute is very nice, actually. I think up to 60 min is OK, less than 30 is perfect.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not sure we considered UC Berkeley so far. _________________ .

Ah, sorry to provide false hope. I did a double check with my friend since 25-30 min seemed pretty short on second thought, and it was actually about 45 minutes from BART to his work --- tack on the time it takes to get to the BART station + idle time waiting for the subway train to come and it probably hits the one hour max you were thinking of.
It's still something to consider, I suppose. Sorry! |

Meadowlark Lemon, Harlem Globetrotter Who Played Basketball and Pranks With Virtuosity, Dies at 83
Quote: | Meadowlark Lemon, whose halfcourt hook shots, no-look behind-the-back passes and vivid clowning were marquee features of the feel-good traveling basketball show known as the Harlem Globetrotters for nearly a quarter-century, died on Sunday in Scottsdale, Ariz., where he lived. He was 83. |
Quote: | This was a time, however, when the Trotters were known not merely for their comedy routines and basketball legerdemain; they were also a formidable competitive team. Their victory over the Minneapolis Lakers in 1948 was instrumental in integrating the National Basketball Association, and a decade later their owner, Abe Saperstein, signed a 7-footer out of the University of Kansas to a one-year contract before he was eligible for the N.B.A.: Wilt Chamberlain.

Well, he is a student. Lot's of time, little money. Hence, we take long commute over an expensive rent. Although, it might be he'll get to experience both. _________________ .

Rent prices in Berkeley have risen quite a bit (though obviously more affordable than SF), but I think if you're patient and start early, you can lock down a reasonable rate, especially if he shares a room.
I really love Berkeley as a city, though, so it should be a nice experience. Though you can't go wrong with SF either |

Hope you get acquitted.
Happy New Year PDTP.
Why am I home? Because it's amateur hour in LA. I hate crowds. I hate when people decide to try and find out how much they can drink and pass that limit by a mile and I hate when people can't stay in their own lanes when driving.
Please be safe everyone and let's look forward to a decent 2016. Set the bar low enough and anyone can get over it. |
