A well-deserved POTG for Kwame.

And long homestand or not...I am digging the fellas being seven over .500...

Before I leave ... I shall provide some stats.

Kobe 21 points, 3 steals
Odom 15 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists
Walton 10 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds
Kwame 17 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals
Parker 8 points, 4 assists
Bynum 8 points, 1 steal, 1 block
Farmar 9 points, 1 steal
Radmanovic 4 points, 2 steals, 1 block

Best stat? Lakers outboarded the Pacers 41-28. That is domination.

yeah it was best just to sit Kobe. the movement on his ankle looked fine. Hope it doesn't stiffen up tonight. He should rest it tomorrow and keep it lose. No practice and get ready for wednesday.

This win puts the Lakers into the #3 seed for the time being since they have a better conference record than Dallas. I know it's too early to talk about playoff seedings, but I noticed.

Also, both Golden State and Sacto lost tonight meaning that the 3 teams at the bottom of the Pacific are all at .500 now.

Worst stat: 31 fouls by the Lakers and 22 turnovers. Lakers were getting jobbed on a lot of those calls though.

You know, what will stick with me, in this game??... Jermaine challenged Kwame, and Kwame didn't back down... Kwame went right at Jermaine, and beat him down!!... Beat the 'ole Fox, at his own game!!...

You know what's strange??... The commentators were saying that Kobe was receiving treatment, as they spoke... Then, we go to the locker room, and as they're talking to Farmar, we see Kobe, still in his uniform, limping around, in the background... He should have been getting that treatment!!
