Kobe played a good game actually. Aside from Radman our big men sucked. |

Ocho -
Tonight.
Laker team assists - 12
Rebounding: Dallas 38 Lakers 28
Laker FG% - 42.9 %
Yep .... we missed Lamar tonight.
We just have to step up defensively and offensively ... Dallas is a top 3 team so that's not a big suprise we lost tonight - esp. on a B2B |

Smush made a silly mistake too, you can tell that the younger guys are not mentally tough enough yet to handle this kind of pressure...they have to learn the hard way.. |

This loss really hurts. It puts us to the 5th spot in the west.
I am still hoping for a miracle. |

could have used the ole "fill in the blanks" treatment don't ya think? |
When have I ever said that LO is useless? Most nights, his "fill-in-the-blanks" game is good. But come playoff time, it won't be enough. When LO's aggressive, he's so much better than just a "fill-in-the-blanks" kind of player. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. Are we gassed? Seems like Kobe is the only one doing anything. They just keep passing him the ball. I hope LO has a speedy recovery. I miss him already. |

Look, its only one game against an elite team in their building....
BUT, we fell apart in the 4th because we had the WRONG defensive linup out there.
Actually, the wrong lineup PERIOD.
Having Vlad OR Cook as your PF in crunchtime is the most assinine thing I have EVER seen.
My GOD man....didnt he see the effect Turiaf had on the game when he was in the game during the 3rd quarter.
Thats all that was needed. |

And you know what's even funnier, ocho? The fact that if Luke doesn't go vortex and feel the need to force his offense, they'd likely have stole this game away without LO. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. Something's seriously wrong, with Jordan's Game!!... He must be trying to run the triangle, to a "T", or something... Those instincts aren't there anymore, or not being used. _________________ "Teamwork is a nebulous thing. It is as ephemeral as love, disappearing at the latest insult.".... Phil Jackson |

luke had a bad game, no doubt. however we were missing that leadership, the guy who makes the plays and runs the offense smoothly. not to mention the D on dirk. dirk KILLED us tonight and lamar usually does very well on him.
without our second best player, on the road, on a back to back, against an elite team i didn't expect to win. if we had lamar...i think we would have. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |
