I know trade wont happen, and salaries dont match.

But hypotheically would you guys do this?

I personally think I would. I think bosh is next KG, and he's putting up 22/11 on 50% shooting...

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3707

But then again quality, 7 footers dont come around to often. But I like bosh's game more than Bynums...only problem is I think we would be too undersized.

Smush/Farmar
Bryant/Evans
Odom/Walton
Bosh/Vlad
Kwame/Turiaf

Thoughs?

I see this as a no-brainer, Bosh is only a few years older then him, I think 21 or 22 and while Bynum is 19, Bosh is a proven all star while Bynum has the potential to be an all star.

I would take proven over potential any day of the week and I think everyone else would.

I would trade Bynum for Bosh but to be honest, it will never happen.

Actually that would be a good fit for this team. Kwame stays at center, Bosh at PF and LO at SF. As it stands now, eventually we'll need to move Kwame cause as Bynum improves, Buss is not going to pay 8 mil for a backup center. Kwame just doesn't have the touch to play PF.

In a second. A young all-star PF who already is the team's leader and best player. The Lakers would have to make that trade. Same goes for Dwight Howard.

Question then, who would you rather have Gasol or Bosh?

No, I wouldn't trade Bynum for Bosh at all cause of the position that Bynum plays. The C position is not very strong at the moment and having a big guy like Bynum anchoring the interior is important. The only guy I would consider trading Bynum for is Oden at this point.

NO! For this season and next.......Yes.

I think we have a bonafide center, and in two years he will be putting up Bosh type numbers, and in 5 years and beyond Bynum will surpass him IMO............ But as a "real center".... Trading Bynum for Bosh would be a tempting thing today, but a bad idea down the road.

It's really tempting. But I'd stick with Andrew Bynum.

Hell no. The only players in the League I'd trade Bynum for are LeBron and Howard.

No doubt about it. Bosh is already an allstar and is young with upside. I love Drew and think he will be an all star also but Bosh is the sickness. Either way though its not as if Toronto would ever make that trade and maybe the Lakers wouldnt either so no decision needed. Its just from the Bosh side hes proven more or less so if you took Bosh it would be hard to regret it to much if Bynum comes on to Bosh's level in the future, since we already know Bosh is an allstar and with upside. Bynum might surpass Bosh who knows, but taking Bosh thats an elite big man for sure for many years to come. I think Bynum will be an allstar god look what hes doing at 19, but smart/safe? money would be on Bosh.

With that said I hope Drew is a Laker for his entire career.
