^^^^^

For me, I love Kobe with a passion, my life revolves around him sad to say. Because of that, I wouldn't trade for Kobe for anything less than KG + Lebron.

There is not a single, solitary player on this planet that I would take for Kobe.

And I would not take Lebron at all ... even with others added. LJ is strictly an offensive player ... no defense at all AND he does NOT make his teammates better. Virtually every player they've added from other teams has a huge drop off once they play alongside LJ.

The only player I'd even consider is Duncan ... and I HATE Duncan. And he is not enough by himself. Especially since we have Bynum who will equal Duncan in a few years.

Nope. No one.

Except for a younger clone of Magic

I would never trade Kobe, but this would be a interesting idea.

Lakers Trade - kobe

Receieve - Pau Gasol ,Mike Miller and Memphis 1# pick

C Bynum
PF Gasol
SF Lamar
G Mike Miller
G Jordan Farmar

Greg Oden off the bench. Our front line would be ridiculous. It wouldnt be fair. We would own the boards. We would be like the 1986 Houston Rockets. Eventually it would be Bynum and Oden up front.

I would trade for the old Kobe with the FRO. The Kobe that used to rip opponents hearts out!! The "F-This I'm not going to wait for everyone else to heat up" Kobe.

I would trade Kobe for KG, LeBron, and Dwyane Wade. But under the stipulation that we get to keep a copy of Kobe's DNA for cloning purposes and gene therapy.

If I had to trade Kobe for a single player, which the thread should be imo...it would be for LeBron.

I read it as trading just Kobe. Thus I thought what would be the most practical trade.

Atlanta trades for Kobe because A) their fan base is lousy and he would sell out every home game. B) He would make them instant contenders for the playoffs. The Hawks are 16-27 as is. Granted those three guys are part of that record, but I think Kobe could get them to .500 for the entire season. Their cap space would still be big so they could add an all-star FA to play with him.

Lakers get a pretty good filler for Kobe in Joe Johnson, the defensive wing player we have been looking for (Josh Smith) and a PF to back up Lamar (Williams).

PG- Farmar
SG-Joe Johnson
SF-Josh Smith
PF-Lamar Odom
C-Bynum

Good team for years to come.
