He's an excellent player who seems frustrated with his teams struggles. He's at that point in his career when he just wants to win. Do you think a package of Kwame, Mckie, Cook, and a first rounder would be enough to get it done? They obviously have Monta Ellis as the future and present for that matter, Kwame would be a nice big for their run and gun style and Cook is valued for his shooting abilities, which Don Nelson loves.

Do you realize how many times the Lakers could have had him via trade and turned it down?

If it was going to happen, it would have happened years ago.

No chance, the front-office didn't even make an effort when he was available at a far cheaper price than you're suggesting. He's too injury-prone, and there are questions about his character.

He'll look real good sitting next to McKie in a suit and tie.

The Lakers were interested in making a move for Davis a while back. I can see why the Lakers would still be interested. He would be a major upgrade next to Kobe. Ellis is their future at PG. I can see the Warriors moving Davis for a Kwame package, but I think they would ask for Farmar as part of the package.

I like Davis but he just gets injured too much. If Warriors cut him though, I wouldn't mind it if we picked him up on a low salary with high incentives.

I guess he's having surgery again, so he wouldn't be much use to the Lakers this season.
