If true, it would smack of a PR move by Shaq. He always was like that - trying to make himself look lie sucha great guy just like a politician.
However, I didn't see it to make a complete judgement about it. In any case, it's best to let these old skeletons stay in the closet. _________________ "Why do you think bad things happen, anyway???" "So we have something good to look forward to."

Listen to the Jerry West video with Dan Patrick a week or so ago. West mentioned how Shaq embraced Kobe when he came to the Lakers. I think Shaq wanted to like Kobe, but their career objectives pushed them apart. _________________ Congrats to 818lakers for winning the 2010 LG NBA playoff pool. |

Career objectives as in, Kobe: become the greatest player in the world
Shaq: see how many donuts can be stuffed into the mouth at one time _________________ "Basketball immortality for the '09 Los Angeles Lakers! It is a purple and gold coronation in the Magic Kingdom tonight!" - Spero Dedes

Shaq wanted another minion to kowtow to him. The problem was that Kobe was an alpha dog before he came to the league and remained one after he got there.
Their personalities and work ethics were always polar opposites. |

I remember Shaq back in '96 wanting to take Kobe under his wings...but they really have different personalities...Shaq was a happy-go-lucky guy, Kobe was a 18-year old perfectionist...their personalities clash...while Kobe is in the gym shooting 1000 jumpers with one eye closed, Shaq was recording rap albums. Shaq was an entertainer 1st, ball player 2nd - even said he didn't really loved basketball, that he was doing it because it was his job...while Kobe was the consummate pro, always wanting to be the best player he can be...They clashed, fallout started. _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. LOL, but all the reports are that Snaq was awful to Kobe from almost the very start.
But that wasn't what got him dealt. I was watching the pre-season game in Hawaii when Jerry Buss was actually rarely in attendance. And Snaq was running down the floor yelling "pay me motherf****" right in Dr. Buss' face.
At that point, I knew his days in LA were numbered and that occurred before the season even started. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

I dont give a damn how you upload it just do it. Take your digital camera, record it on movie mode, transfer it to your computer, and sendspace, yousendit, or rapidshare the file. Just get it up and everyone here will take care of the rest.
Once its up, someone will probably find a way to HDTV it for better quality ....lol
Please just do us ALL a favor and get the damn clip on the site _________________ “YO JEANIE, WHATS UP MY BIIIAAACCCHH!” – COCA JAMES ON 1540AM THE TICKET LAKERS ROUNDTABLE - 03/02/06
