As an Angel Fan, you hope and believe that regardless of how Boston handles the Angels in the regular season, the Halos can start fresh in the post eason. But last night was embarrasing for the Angels.
Thoughts or predictions??? |

I just hope the Angels beat the Red Sox. I hate them just as much as the Giants and the Yankees. _________________ "It's just fo' decoration! That's it and that's all, man; we do it fo' decorations." -Lil Sis |

The red sox had the advantage in the first game, it's not a big deal that they lost that game. Lackey does horrible in fenway while Beckett is solid there. They have Escobar going friday against Matsuzaka who has a near 5 ERA at fenway when Escobar has done very well there since joining the angels. Game 3 is pretty evenly matched with Weaver vs. Schilling, but the angels will be at home and they have the best home record in all of baseball. Game 4 with Lackey at home, I like their odds even if they have to face Beckett again. Game 5, well hopefully it won't get there and the angels sweep the next 3 but they'll have Escobar vs Matsuzaka again in a favorable environment to Escobar. |

Halos got zero chance for winning this series. First they get owned by the best big game pitcher right now. Then in a couple nights they get schilling, who despite not being the same player, i suspect he will step it up. Then if they somehow make it go 5, they get beckett again. Thats a (bleep) . Ide love to see an indians v.s sox championship series, sabathia, caramona, beckett, dice K,schilling. |

The Angels are fine. Remember, they just need the split in the road trip. And if they take care of that tomorrow... then the two home games are looking nice for our outlook.
GA though, pinkeye... BENCH YOURSELF. You idiot. He swung like a doofus last night when he couldn't see.
The Angels gotta stop looking at that 1st pitch fastball for a strike. You'd think after 1-2 innings, you would get the point. But instead, they continue to be stupid over and over. Sometimes there is just no common sense it seems.
Hopefully Dice-K chokes under pressure tomorrow, and Kelvim steps it up. I hope Escobar's injury isn't still in effect... but it's still no excuse.
Angels in 4 still. _________________
