Lot of unproven talent and unreached potential on the team this year which begs the question...

Kobe realizing his potential is the most important, Odom maybe the most likely, Bynum the least likely maybe, and Turiaf, Mihm, and Brown all have good shots at it this year.

Why wouldn't the best 2 guard in the league take his game to the next level. You see where some clown had him rated down at 4th best SG all time under Jordan and the 2 Celtic era SG's. Nope, the way things look it's as if they're building the team around the sole purpose of Kobe reaching his potential and if that happens he and the Lakers end up with more titles than Jordan and the Bulls. I think we're building a good team but around Kobe's potential and then when capspace clears we'll try to find our Kareem if he hasn't showed up yet.

Maybe less potential than the others but more potential than he's been able to realize over the whole season. 20/10 games in September for us last year. Yeah, that kind of potential.

Lamar is an ideal player for the triangle. If he can't realize his potential with this offense, it's quite possible he never will get to his potential.
