Are we really going to have the 15-20 mil to throw at LAbron? I'd like to here from someone who knows but I'll go ahead and make this a poll for opinions. FACTS STILL WELCOME!!!

Somewhere on this forum there was a cap break down and it said that it was pretty much impossible for us to come up with the money. Reality is its very difficult to have two Max contract players.

I'll try to find that thread for ya.

I can see us saving cap space for a player that's really worth his 10 million. One more All-Star. I don't think the 07 capspace thing has to be about an Yao or Amare or Lebron. There's plenty of All-Star talent people forget about.

That said I think it's wise to wait but if you see your All-Star before then better grab him. I serously think it'll work out if we keep with it though. We got Shaq and Kobe. Maybe we can get another one of them. I don't know.

Could be by that time that the only serious piece we're looking to pick up is a PG. LAbron=6'8" 240lbs -- Magic=6'9" 255lbs

Actually, Wade seems way more realistic...holy crap, Wade at PG, Kobe at SG...DROOL! Odom at SF, Kwame at PF (who is now an all-star reserve), and Bynum at C (Who is now ranked among the greats!)

DROOL

AND I'M NOT PUTTING IT DOWN!

Do you really see it possible that Lebron-Kobe or Wade-Kobe could play together? And why would a player like Wade leave, when his team will be able to offer him more on a contract extentsion than we can?

Lebron loves the lakers, he loves jerry Buss and he loves Kobe. it is a long shot, but not impossible, IMO.

Whatever...if that's what he wants, we have a shot...

Other than that, no...not enough money...

But it won't be about the money...Nike will give him a TRILLION DOLLARS to play in LA with their other poster-boy, the Kobester...

If we are a lot better than NY by the time he is a free agent than maybe we have a chance because of course he wants to win but let's not underestimate his friendship with Jigga in Jersey.

Negatory, and we aren't for Amuri and Yow either.

And even if the Lakers are serious about going after him, there's no chance they'll get him.

In 2007, LeBron is going to be a restricted FA, meaning the Cavs can match any offer.

Don't see it happening at all.

Look at all of the posts about how we won't have any cap space in 07...
