Cook has surpassed Sasha as most worthless player on the team. At least Sasha has improved his body and his game this off-season. It's the same old crap from Cook. No defense. Soft. Can't jump. Can't rebound. Bad shot selection.

Exactly why did the Lakers extend his contract again?

Cook has about a 3 sheets of paper vertical leap.

the fact that brian cook is being paid 3 million dollars a year makes me sick to my stomache.

favorite play of the game = when bynum rolled to the hoop for a lob, and brain cook in the high post chucked it off the backboard like an angry stunted kid.

Did Cook's game burn in the fire too? Nevermind, only valuables get reported

Wasn't the book on Cook coming out of Illinois that he was a good passer? Those scouts were dead wrong.

Cook demeans the profession of basketball. Garbage, just garbage.

It may be exciting but no one is going to buy tickets for that team.

Vlad, Cook, Mihm, & Kwame are worthless -- these players are 2nd/3rd tier players who would never come off the bench on a championship caliber team.

Phil is giving him playing time in the preseason cause we all know there is no way in hell he should be playing in the regular season.

why is cook getting so many minutes every game

Hopefully he's being marketed for a trade.

Rumor has it that his current trade value would fetch a 2060 2nd round pick.

So, it's higher than normal right now.

I hate to admit it, I do, but when Cook went down early in the game and went to the locker room I actually said, "nice" out loud.

Cook has not worked on his game since he was in 9th grade. I can see it now, a young Brian standing 6'2 playing SG hoisting up everything he can get his hands on.

I don't care that he can't jump. Seriously the guys needs to work on SPEED or aka moving your #@$% feet!

it wouldnt matter, bro. cook doesnt have the talent or athleticism. the only reason he is in the nba is because he is 6' 10".

And the only reason he's still a Laker is because Mitch and Jimbo thought it would be a great idea to extend him 3 more years. Go figure....

I can only get on Cookie for so much. He is what he's always been. But he represents yet another nonsensical signing/extension that does absolutely nothing to make us a better team.

LOL, I think alot of lg fans were thinking the same way. On the bright side I thought farmar, bynum and critt played well, In fact I was kinda of disappointed at the lack of touches Bynum(and to a lesser extend Ronny) got in this game. Bynum went for 8 point and 8 rebounds, Farmar for 7 points and 7 assists, and crit scored 10 in limited minutes. It was nice to see Ronny come down with 10 boards, although no one was looking for him on the offensive end consistently.

So people won't pay tickets to see an exciting team? That hardly makes sense.

That's not fair to angry stunted kids to compare them to Cook
