670 The score B & B
48 hours for approval
- This is above Paxson's head right now
- Lakers are sick of Kobe and want him gone now. Were amazed he got booed so badly last night

Here's the deal:
- Does not involve Deng
- Does involve (best info at the moment) Kirk Hinrich
- 3rd team is the Kings
- Artest Going to Lakers

Also said Phx Was involve as a 3rd team but back off.
Kings getting involve.

Same thread posted on Clublakers.

So we just get another PG and another headache with Artest? Don't we already have Kobe for that?

I would imagine that it's something along the lines of Hinrich, Thomas, & Artest to LA, if this is true.

Hinrich? That's awesome!!! We need 4 point guards, just in case the opposing team decides to to not post up or anything.

Do it Mitch!!!

yes, we NEED another point guard

cuz the ONLY move we made in the "BIG" off season was picking up 2 pgs...one thru the draft and one thru FA

I find it hard to believe the Lakers would take on Artest, especially if Kobe isn't on the team. I would be livid if they got Artest as part of a Kobe deal, but didn't give up Bynum to bring in Artest when they had Kobe.

Reports indicate that Artest isn't L.A.'s main target; Hinrich is. Taking on Artest seems to be just taking a hit so that they can get Hinrich.

Without an established leader on this team to even try to keep Artest in line I shudder at the possibilities.

so we rather have crazy ron then crazy kobe drama? wow. This is what happens folks when the fans get to antsy and talk about burning down staples if we dont win one ins a years time. the antsy got us rudy three, the anty got us Pjax prematurely(pjax works well with vets to get them over the hump. not with young guys). Thank you impatient fans. thanks much.

Yea I agree... This trade doesnt make sense. I love Hinrich, but we dont need a 4th PG. And getting Artest in exchange for Kobe doesnt make sense either. I love both those players, but we dont need either. Odom is our SF, and Fisher/Farmar are our PG's...

Why would the Lakers be so insistent on Kirk Heinrich, when we already have 2 other excellent young PGs? Why would HE be the main target?

So we wouldn't trade for artest because he was crazy and the price was too high before, but if the price is Kobe Bryant we will?

We can field a whole team of PG's. But we still can't match PHX's small-ball.
