the list is garbage save for #1 the writer can't be more than 14 years old.

if we're going iconic it's hard to beat psycho or charles foster kane dropping the snowglobe and uttering the most famous phrase in film history.

Atrocious! Deep Blue Sea was awful! And that SLJ death scene was laughable.

One and two are meh, OK, but the absolute best death scene was Moe Green in Godfather.

Also throw in William Defoe in Platoon.

How about Joe Pesci in Casino?

Optimus Prime in Transformers.

The Godfather series should have about 5 spots on this list.
My favorite is James Caan getting shot about 400 times in 20 seconds. Brutal

seriously... I wanted to post my own list, but I couldn't remember his name in the movie.

Pulp Fiction also has about 5. Orin Ishii in Kill Bill is awesome. The Joker in Batman ("hehehehehe"). Maximus and Commedus in Gladiator.

Best Death - non-horror - my choice

White Heat (1949)
James Cagney as Cody Jarrett - ""Made it, Ma! Top of the world!" before he blows up.

Best Death Horror - my choice

Evil Dead - (1981)
It's one thing to be mutilated, blown up, etc.. but going for the eyes is just wrong in so many way.

you guys are forgetting one of the most disturbing death scenes ever...

JOE PESCI IN CASINO. when he and his brother are beaten to death and buried alive. I'd say this is my most memorable death scene.

Not forgotten, I mentioned it above.

Although technically he did not die on screen, just beaten to a gelatinous pulp.
