|
|
OK. There are some who won't go near fast food restaurants but I will go a couple of times a week. If you do partake, rank them in order from best to worst.
1. In-and-Out
2. Taco Bell
3. Jack in the Box
4. Tommy's
5. McDonalds
6. Subway
7. Burger King
8. El Pollo Loco
9. Del Taco
10. Carl's Jr.
11. Rallys
12. Wendy's
13. Panda Express
100. Arby's |

here's an interesting article that goes into detail comparing health content of fast food places.

I always look at calories, especially for fast food. There's some stuff you'd rather not know. Even places that aren't necessarily fast food is eye-opening. Baja Fresh for instance. A bean and cheese burrito with steak is over 1000 calories. A plain old quesadilla? 1200 calories.
In-N-Out
Tommy's
Wendy's
El Pollo Loco

Taco Bell was so much better back in the '70's.
Nice list ocho, salt levels are insane, wish they would cut them down, I can add salt if I want it. _________________ Forget carbon, reduce your government footprint |

I feel deprived.... NJ doesn't have:
1. In-and-Out
3. Jack in the Box
4. Tommy's (????)
8. El Pollo Loco
9. Del Taco
10. Carl's Jr.
11. Rallys
13. Panda Express (????)
Fatburger
One of my favs when in Cali is Rubio's... for fast food... plus you can buy beer there too (unheard of in NJ, alcohol at a fast food joint)...
I can't stomach Taco Hell...

If Chipotle is considered fast food, then they are the clear favorite for number 1 for me.
Also I like Del Taco, but it is still around 5ish for me, but if we're talking about the Del Taco in Barstow then its like number 1, 2, or 3 (Chipotle, In-n-Out, Del Taco). That Barstow Del is amazing, I don't know what they do different but it is sooooooooo much better. For those who have not been, I was once a non-believer and said my friends were crazy till I tried it... nope, way better, damn I'm hungry now. _________________ Go Lakers

If they cut down the salt levels, there's a danger you could taste the actual food. |

In no particular order (I know, it's a cop-out but it simply depends on my mood and what I've gone the longest without):
El Pollo Loco
In-and-Out
Carls' (famous star )
Del Taco (chili cheese fries )
Rubio's
Popeye's |

McDonalds-the worst place ever, although the fries are good
Wendy's-nothing great
Taco Bell-was a fan, but now only like Del Taco

Tommy's is just a burger place with chili that is similar to Cincinatti-style chili. Of course, they don't pile on cheddar cheese or pour it over spaghetti (seriously, Cinci, wtf?) so maybe it doesn't count. Still good though.
Panda Express is a nationwide chain of fast food Chinese takeout. It's not all that good. You have them in Jersey, but where you are, you'll probably have to drive about 20 or 30 miles and into PA to find one. _________________ Game recognize game, Granddad. - Riley Freeman, The Boondocks |
