The Crab Cooker in Newport Beach, is a must.

I've been there and is off the hook.

Rock'in Baja Lobster across the street.

Get the Golden Sombrero Bucket.

If I don't want to trek out to Newport, King's is pretty good for mid-priced seafood.

Don't leave me in suspense, bro! What comes in the Golden Sombrero Bucket?!

Baja style King Crab, slipper lobsters and shrimp, along with lime marinated beef and chicken.

Yo! THAT'S the lick right there. Good lookin' out.

If you're into shrimp, Killer Shrimp in Marina del Ray is the place to go. Get the original Killer Shrimp Bowl, a hunk of bread, and peel and dip away.

I took this chick to Killer Shrimp in the Marina...it was pretty cool. Nice setting outside with the ehat lamps and all.

Love the San Pedro Ports O' Call.

The Rio Seafood Buffett is disgusting though. 38 bucks for rubbery lobster and suspect oysters...no thanks!

I have yet to try the Rio Seafood Buffet because that line is always crazy long.

UPDATE: Anybody got any to add?

I have to give props to Joe's Crab Shack in Redondo Beach - I tried their Beantown steampot and it was just off the hook. Scrumptious.

The Original Fish Company Restaurant & Fresh Fish Market in Los Alamitos is my favorite spot. Fresh fish, great service, and the best New England clam chowder outside of San Francisco. Their portions are huge, and reasonably priced. You won't be disappointed.
Check out their menu!

Damn, good stuff, bro.

I can vouch for this restaurant. I graduated from Los Alamitos High, and I know the owner's son very well. I had pretty much everything on their menu...aahh...good ol' days.

Gotta call up my homie and head over to that place again.

One note, it is somewhat expensive (but I never had to pay )

Also try Long Beach Fish Grill. Small restaurant, but very good quality and price. Best of all, it's FRESH.
