What a steal!! I seriously predict a championship this year. If Bynum comes back strong, we will no doubt be the favorites no doubt. |

Wow
I am in shock.
Thank you Mitch!
once Bynum is healthy, this solidifies our starting line up. and even without Bynum, we're this much stronger with Pau vs Kwame. _________________ "I define success by championships, by winning..." Kobe Bryant

Anyone else hear about Kwame getting bought out by the Grizz and resigning with the Lakers? |

From CL.

1) Illegal for LA to claim him off waivers since there's no cap room - and there's a 30 day wait time for LA who just traded him
2) If he is waived - then it's 30 days until they can resign him.
If it's legal, that'll be interesting. |

Was Marc Gasol part of the trade and got sent to Memphis? That would be funny if his draft rights got traded for his brother _________________ "This is a comptitive city. Kobe was on vacation in Span this summer and he met Paul. Maybe they talked about Paul coming here.

this just made odom that much better...odom is a guy who likes to rebound and pass...and every once in a while takes over on the scoring end...he was playing amazing once bynum stepped up his game...now with gasol and bynum in the lineup along with kobe....lamar will give us what we need...an unselfish big who can run the floor and do a lot of dirty work. it is the perfect roll for him...his whole problem has been with his scoring consistency...now he doesn't need to worry about it. boy is this a happy day in purple and gold land. |

WOW..OMG.. I am so giddy.. I've always said Gasol is PERFECT for the triangle.. great midrange game and fits in well with Bynum when he comes back..
Mitch finally with a miracle that makes a name for GMs... he is set for life.

I'm just wondering if Jerry West had anything to do with this! Wasn't he a consultant over in Memphgis not too long ago after quitting the GM job? And how much involved was Jimmy Buss? Anyway...Mitch I think you've one up the Celtics on this and would probably beat Danny Ainge for GM of the Year... _________________ -" The shortest distance between a problem and a solution is the distance between your knees and the floor. |

Top 10 reasons why this trade ROCKS!!!
10. LG members get to start voting for a new nickname for Pau G.
9. Mitch sticks in his thumb, pulls out a plum, and says "what a good GM am I!"
8. Kwame now gets to blame turnovers on greasy fingers from all the good southern fried chikcen he'll eat in Memphis
7. Free Javaris Crittendon! (sorry Ocho)
6. Phil Jackson finally gets to trade beard secrets with Pau G.
5. Now we get an All Star Spaniard too!!! Take that San Antonio!!!
4. Staples Center "Boo Birds" can now focus on the next overpaid, under performer----- Vlad Radmonovic!!
3. When Drew gets back healthy, LO becomes 4th scoring option
2. Kobe retires a Laker.
1. Laker haters can just SUCK ON IT!!!!!!!!

The perfect fit with Bynum up front....
We are now the team to beat.....Yup,and that includes you KG and you're Celtics. So sit on that and stew in it KG....
A new dynasty begins now! IMO...We have the best team, and the rest of the league is floored right about now... |
