At least for once it isn't Lamar's fault. He was a beast. Kobe with 11 points on 4-16 shooting and 3-5 FTs. Lamar 2-5 FTs hurts though. FREE THROWS! Hawks only missed ONE FT the whole game. What a major downer, man. |

Kobe TO and sasha taking it to the hole(what was he thinking, he barely drives to the hole and when we need a 3 he takes it to the hole talk about brain fart), game was decent but out energy was seriously lacking, kobe's injury was evident throughout the game. This was a good loss, we'll learn from this as we did with the detriot loss. Also I thought that Pau wasn't as involved in the game as much as possible _________________ 11/9/12 the day the brown was flushed down!!!!!!

We got shut down by the hawks. Team lived live and died by the jumpshot , taking way too many of them in the 4th when should of been taking it inside . |

Sasha made the right play. The three was too contested and at the rate the play was going, a shot wouldn't have even been attempted. |

pau barely touched the ball in that last strecht...
no d.
kobe choked.
but, had the refs given the call to fish instead of joe johnson, like they should and we probably would have won the game _________________ "What I'm doing right now, I'm chasing perfection" - Kobe Bryant |

I agree... Sasha had no chance to get a 3 off and he had a clear lane to the basket. Rather take your chances only down 1 than a desperation 3 that would not have gone in.
Overall... team defense was bad. Team rebounding was not good. Kobe shot too much and poorly with a dislocated finger. Lakers let another one get away. So far on this road trip the Lakers have been competitive, but have failed to steal a game. |

welcome back to the earth lakers, where you must play defense and give 100% effort to win a nba game (especially on the road). |

Its games like this that puzzle me about how Kobe approaches games when he struggles with his shot. He clearly didnt have his shot falling all night and still he continued to play 1 on 1 ball especially at the time in the ballgame where we needed sure shots. Fish and Lamar were money tonight and Gasol had ZERO touches when it counted. Dude finally has weapons on this team he needs to learn to utilize them more.

Holy crap Kobe sucked bad tonight!! Tough game to watch...especially with the Hawks announcers. They seem like nice guys, but it was a snoozefest. |

Joe Johnson's push off and Fisher's acting cancels each other out .........
Lakers just brainfarted their way to a loss .......
up eight and nine points on numerous occasions and just couldn't put the Hawks away ......
Josh Smif (aka "The Game" - cuz he looks like him) is a beast |

Sounded like a sloppy game all around. But I didn't expect the Lakers to run the table the rest of this roadtrip either. Back-to-backs aren't gimmies even for loaded teams. Sounds like Bryant's hand is still bothering him and Gasol is obviously still learning to fit in. It's going to be a tough one against Orlando Friday. I think one more win on this roadtrip will make it successful in the grand scheme of things. |
