| Ding has his head up his butt, but he does get decent access so provides some insight into stuff. To say he has "no agenda" isn't supported by his latest article. |

OC Register
Kevin Ding.
All of the LA Times sports writers and columnist who cover the Lakers still hate Kobe and act like Shaq is still in LA and plays for the Lakers. |

Ding easily. He basically says everything that is running through my head. Pretty freaky.
Love that he holds Lamar accountable |

Oh Boo hoo. So he isn't a Lamar Odom supporter. I guarantee if he spouted the nonsensical rhetoric spit out by odom fans you'd be his biggest fan

What exactly was agenda driven by his latest article?
Or did you simply mean that what he wrote was counter to your own agenda? _________________

Another vote for Ding. Does a great job.
The LA Times blows chunks. They need to clean house and start over. |

For the life of me, I do not understand how such a respected newspaper does such a shoddy job covering a local team. I grew up reading Bill Murray, who was one of the greatest sportswriters of our age. To go from Bill Murray to the current band of misanthropic misfits is an injustice. The blame of course resides with the Sports section editor, and ultimately the Publisher, who have confused objectivity with negativity and pettiness.
If the LA Times prioritized Laker coverage, they'd publish our DancingBarry. |

^ I think you mean Jim Murray. Although Bill Murray could probably play a hilarious sports writer in a film.
But I agree with your post. Murray is a legend. The Laker beat writers from the Murray days, Mal Florence, Ted Green, Steve Springer...all those guys were excellent. At some point the Times Sports lost their way and it's just a rag now, a disgrace to those who made it great. |
