Damn,
Just looked at LO's numbers for the game tonight,
21 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, 0 turnovers.
He has been playing pretty good these past few games. _________________ "Just show up ready to work, ready to play, Have your big boy pants on, leave your diaper at home." Kobe Bryant

About the only thing good going for Utah is their 529 plan. |

With the lovefest Charles Barkley is giving Kobe on the postgame show, you'd believe he dropped D Wade from his 'Fave Five' and added Kobe at the top. _________________ "Just show up ready to work, ready to play, Have your big boy pants on, leave your diaper at home." Kobe Bryant

BIG High 5 to
RAD a great game, I did not know he could dunk that much!
Lamar, He is becoming my favorite player. WOW great game and intensity.
Kobe, Love the fire, passion and the sh!t Talking.
I noticed some new help strategies, that I liked, more reverse switching on the pick and roll. Awesome, shut down D-will! Great win Lakers! |

brief history: grew up in LA for 22 of my 36yrs.. lakers fan since i even knew what bball was.. family even had a stint of season tix during showtime at the forum..
that being said, i live in SLC now and i was at the game last night... 3rd row.
it was amazing to say the least... it's ALWAYS funny to go to a game here in utah, anyways.. but this game was off the charts.. hearing the fans get soo mad and sad and sober...
lakers came in and balled. with authority. the house was quiet in that first qtr... haha..
seeing kobe with all this aggression right now.. i love it. lamar had a sick game and was having a blast.. laughin etc...
but..... leave it to the utah fans to get all butthurt and personal... especially the bottle and on a night that their team is actually on national television (you're welcome)... that thing came flying down from the top of the 1st section.. a good 50 rows up...
also.. one lakers fan, courtside seat: the jazz bear tossed him a t-shirt during one of the timeout acts... the fan tossed it back at him and got booted from the game.. never returned.. pretty damn ridiculous.
for the lakers to come in here and do this to the jazz, while not being at full strength was amazing.. i loved it. poorrrr poooooor, jazz.....
so many lakers/kobe fans... by the time the game was getting late, the boo's were over.. lakers fans had moved lower bowl and the boo's were replaced with mvp chants.. leaving the arena, there were a good 75 lakers fans, in jerseys, chanting and cheering.. waiting for the lakers bus to come out... gotta love it.
when this all comes full circle and we're at full strength: game over.
bring on the celtics. |

If you were not proud of our guys last night, there is no soul inside of you.
We proved we can play small ball as we all know we can play big ball.

dont make kobe mad.. i love that the fisher and of course the games themselves, have re-sparked a great rivalry..
being in energy solutions last night was hilarious.. for the team to come in there, underhanded and handle business like that was sick. 2-2 on a very important roadtrip and 2 big wins.
kobe is mvp. period. on top of that, now everyone has to fear "playoff kobe".. he is in stride early.
first possession down the court, i got a look at his eyes as he tucked down in defense.. i stated to my friends " he's got that killer look, right now.." i knew this game was gonna be solid..
kobe is assassin mode.. whether he is on top of the box score or not, he is controlling things right now.. (he did have a great night, no matter how you look at it..) with a supporting cast that has matured and really shows no signs of fear or foldiing, possibilities are endless at fullstrength..
we've got something that's going to be around for the next 5yrs..
really hoping we get a chance to roll through the jazz in the playoffs..
nice night, odom... |
