I've always been a Lovitz fan. After he left, the show went down hill. _________________ Courage doesn't always roar.

Eddie. And where's Dan Akroyd and Jim Belushi in the poll?
I hope you mean John Belushi. _________________ Courage doesn't always roar.

Ben Stiller
Christopher Guest
Rob Schneider
Jimmy Fallon
These guys shouldn't be anywhere on this list. Also, I think we're being a little sexist here, considering Jan Hooks is easily in the Top 10 of funniest, and Tina Fey is better than some of those guys too.

^^ If Nealon makes the list, then Fallon should be on there as well. Also, I was trying to think of the funny chicks to add but only came up with Gilda Radner. Hooks was funny, but I just wouldn't put her on there. Fey was funny at the news desk mainly, but not in most of the skits. Amy Poehler is getting there though. And, also, Tracy Morgan should get a nod if Nealon gets a nod. _________________

Kevin Neelon?
Guest is hilarious. He's a personal favorite of mine and has had a great career outside of SNL. Schneider tickles too. I agree that Fallon is lame, and ruins skits.
Hooks was pretty funny. I despise Fey. Worst writer in the history of the show and mostly responsible for its current state.
Nealon is also a favorite but I didn't figure anyone would agree.
As long as we're doing favorites:
Chris Parnell - great all-around comic
Amy Poehler
Tracy Morgan - Brian Fellow
Rachel Dratch
Melanie Hutsell - Ugly chick with hilarious facial expressions
Norm MacDonald - Burt Reynolds, Larry King, Funniest Version of weekend update
Jon Lovitz - Hannukah Harry
Horatio Sanz - particularly his Aaron Neville impersonations that had me in (bleep) stitches.
My top vote goes to Farley. Matt Foley + lunch lady + Chippendales _________________ http://chickhearn.ytmnd.com/

And I STILL have no idea who Chris Guest is!
- Fey's writing was/is pretty solid
- Fallon was hilarious in the Gibbs Brothers skits
- Parnell is a fool !
- Dratch may be one of the top 3 funniest chicks ever on SNL
- Norm was hilarious as well
- How could I forget Lovitz? The Pathological Liar bit was hilarious
- Sanz was hilarious! I loved how he ALWAYS was about lose it in almost every skit he was in! And yeah, his Neville impersonation was hilarious and downright wrong at the same time! _________________

Christopher Guest was only on SNL for one season (1984-85). He is best known for being the lead writer and star of the mockumentary This is Spinal Tap along with more recent movies like Waiting For Guffman, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, and For Your Consideration. He tends to cast the same people in all his movies (usually Michael McKean, Harry Shearer, Eugene Levy, Fred Willard, and Catherine O'Hara) similar to what Judd Apatow is doing now.

Little Richard Simmons Show, Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood, Buckwheat... Eddie Murphy gets my vote. Plus, after being on SNL, he was one of the most successful if not the most successful cast member after leaving the show, he owned the 80's and early 90s.
