I normally hate to pick on Laker fans, but please have some SPINE. Jeez. You're starting to piss me off. Btw ELITE teams don't blow a 20 point lead to overrated teams. Hey maybe it is time you actually started believing in your team. |

(The Spurs lost exactly the same number of games to Utah and Denver last year and did not get the media love!)
The reality is thatboth are fine teams but the Spurs are better at winnning when it counts. They are a hell of a team (consistently under-rated but it no accident when a team has the highest winning percentage of any team in any major sport in professional sports history over 10 years) and to get by them it is going to take everything your Lakers have.
Lakers will make a run and make this game competitive but this will be a hell of a series.
Bring it on = game on. Will be fun! |

Yup, the old, offensively-challenged Spurs showed up today. You called it.

You know, I would have respected you more if you had made this prior to game time. As such, this post just look like an over confident Spurs fan trying to thump his chest before the game ended.
Btw, I don't think the Suns and Hornests are that vastly superior to the Nuggests and Jazz. It's not like the Spurs went through the Pistons and Celtics, so please spare me that crap. I am sick and tired of people not giving the Lakers their dues. That's directed at some Laker fans too.
This is going to be a tough series, but the Lakers will win. If the Spurs win, so be it. |

Yeah, I guess the real Spurs did show up in time to lose to our over-hyped Lakers. _________________ “There is always light if only we're brave enough to see it, if only we're brave enough to be it.” --Amanda Gorman |

Yep a 20 point choke, I'm impressed
Good Job Spurs.
Maybe we'll spot you a 30 point lead and you and your "vaunted" D can hold that one eh? |

I boldly predicted a 5 game series win by the Spurs (see sweep thread) and I am sticking to it and nothing I have seen tonight has convinced me otherwise as the "tired Spurs" run circles aroun Lakers. The truth is that your LAL without Bynum have been over-hyped the last two weeks facing realitively easy opponents while the champs dissed by many in the media have survived two strong opponents. (The Spurs lost exactly the same number of games to Utah and Denver last year and did not get the media love!)
