great point made by Kenny.

The Lakers have been down by 20 points in two games thus far. That's a big worry.

No the 1st game was meaningless. The Lakers had a lot of rust to shake off and SAS was in rhythm for their Game 7.

I fail to see what point Kenny is trying to make. Yes, the Spurs have been up by 20 points....they've also been outscored by 20+ as well. Should they take heart in being up by 20 pts on 2 occasions or beat themselves up over the Lakers putting up some monster runs?

The adjustments by the Spurs:
- Play one-on-one defense at every position
- Give Kobe room to make him a jump shooter. He may score, but no assists
- Give Odom room to make him a jump shooter
- Play tight on Fisher. Since he's a jump shooter, he's not effective

i think that (bolded) was a key adjustment. they didn't let the others get involved w/ easy shots near the basket.

i'm not worried after this loss. these are the spurs that were playing. anybody who thinks we'd be sweeping them is stupid. the stage is set, lakers up 2-1. big game coming up on tuesday. i can't wait!

"They played solid defense, but [Lamar] missed a lot of easy ones," Bryant

Quite sad that our players cannot create without Kobe. With the Bulls, they had Pippen who could create. Spurs have Manu and Parker. We only have Kobe. Dangerous times indeed.

I think we need to move Kobe into the post.

I believe Rosen stated that Phil had seriously over simplified the triangle offense in Games 1-3. We haven't used Kobe in the pinch post at all in this series.

I expect to see Phil throw in some more variety in Game 4. I love it when Kobe operates out of the post, Bowen is not nearly as effective a post defender as he is face-up.
