Refs like E Rush and D Bavetta are so disgusting. Bad calls, missed calls, etc.

I'm surprised a smart guy like Gasol hasn't learned simple box out skills. You never turn your back completely to a player when watching the rim, you turn sidewise with an arm out, and use peripheral vision to track the opponent and shot simultaneously, when the ball comes off the board/rim you move in front of the guy. Bynum mastered this skill in a week. Simple stuff.

Kobe was not playing like 04 finals in which he simply ball hogged against the zone.. however, he had an uneven game.. never in any kind of rhythm.. if he and the lakers are to win, Kobe has to move without the ball and get his shots off cuts.. Boston are a great defensive team for a reason.. they are quick to close out.. sending guys from different directions.

rebounding again hurt.. lakers were not boxing out at all.

PJ Brown has been so crucial for them in the playoffs in clutch time.

You knew focus wasn't there when Pierce went out and lakers continued to run through their motions..

Its strangely ironic for fans who don't show any heart to complain about the Lakers not having any.

Likewise.

And I am tired of the constant annoucing against the Lakers during the games. It is always "You can't let Kobe shoot that shot" never "Kobe made a nice shot"

It is always what the other team needs to do to beat the Lakers, never vice versa.

I am watching the rest of the series on mute. Breen is a disguting lowlife and a very sorry choice to be annoucing the NBA Finals.

Difference is, the celts can handle KG missing 9 straight shots...I don't think our team can weather Kobe's misses

Boston just took away Fisher and Gasol in the second half
and Kobe was ice cold and forcing shots
if we lose the next game, it is practically over
I hope it doesn't happen

okay....its all Kobe's fault....

Are the Kobe haters happy??? ANYONE??

Lets not mention SAsha missing open shots

Lets not mention Gasol getting his ARSE outrebounded by PJ Brown in HALF the minutes AND missing open shots and FT's.

Lets not mention how we kept FOULING THEM OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER BAILING THEM OUT.

Lets not mention how Odom completely disappeared.

Lets not mention ANY of this.

Your right they all sucked and don't blame the refs either, that's weak.

Kobe was fouled all freakin night with only 1 or 2 calls. Ridiculous and inexcusable. The Nba and their officials are disgrace to the game. Dick Bavetta too old and needs to retire immediately. Ed Rush should be sent to prison for robbery.

"Pierce with what looked to be a devastating injury to the right knee, returns miraculously to go almost perfect in the 2nd half.......talk about a momentum generating moment when he limped Willis Reed style, back to the floor"

Its all youre gonna hear the next 3 days

1 week of hype before the darn Finals began, play one game then have two days off........what the hell.............

Kobe -13 ... worst +/- on the team. Talk about trying to cement one's legacy.

Cover it in cement you mean?

It was just a horrible effort in what i believe was THE winnable game in Boston. We missed a huge chance.

Lasoft and Gasoft and kobe don't show up again this series will go to the green (bleep) in 5.

if he beats the man and goes inside drawing double teams or fouls like vs SA we can win vs everyone.

not really.. Kobe was not drawing double teams regularly against SA.. he was simply making his jumpshots.

You know Kobe is bound to have a bad game when he brings out the pump fakes..

2 major reasons the lakers lost tonight...kobe and phil...supposedly their 2 biggest advantages

kobe was atrocious on both ends of the floor...offensively, his decision making, both as a shooter and as a passer, was unbelievably bad

phil's substitutions were horrendous...what the hell was he thinking taking lamar out and bringing radman in...cost the lakers 2 offensive boards...not only that lamar was out for far too long in the 4th quarter...game 2, phil needs to step up...ariza needs to get some time too

all in all, it was a very disappointing game...but i still think the lakers take it in 6...boston got what they are going to get from their big 3...the lakers still have some players who can play significantly better...namely kobe...so they are still in good shape if kobe and phil get their act together
