Did anyone see how many brawls sprung up during the game at Staples Center for Home Court Advantage today (Game 2)?

It was interesting to see the comeback (seemingly) being fueled by all of the emotion inside Staples Center. It was the most exhilarating (and violent) game I've seen at Staples.

Literally, there were about 20-30 people invovled in one brawl... and another had foldout chairs being thrown at the Boston fan (who then ran towards the court while the Laker Girls were performing).

It was certainly a strange night at Staples...

Yeah it'll be interesting to see if the emotion will be just as high when the Lakers are actually on the court and the prices for tickets skyrocket.

If you've ever been to a Dodger's game with the opposing team's fans getting heckled in the pavilion seats... it was like x100 that.

Yeah... more often than not there's some sort of correlation there. I just don't understand why people will go to the games (Boston fans) and are not humble about their team when they are clearly outnumbered and the fans don't necessarily have the most respect for you.

I honestly fail to see how some of you think that is a good thing.

I know you're frustrated over the loss, but c'mon.

Yeah. I felt really bad for all the families that went too, it was definitely not the most family friendly atmosphere when people started heckling each other. These events should be about getting together to have fun... people are taking it too seriously to actually get involved in these brawls.

Very true! You can see the cheap tickets brought all the thugs and low lives to the games. Seemed like the major bawl had nutting to do with lakers vs. celtics. It was lakers fans fighting other lakers fans.

The Lakers fans who participated should be ashamed of themselves. That's where I'll leave it.

No it doesn't.

It just shows that SOME "Lakers" fans are (bleep) and idiots.

I was there and saw those 3 girls all with Celtics outfits. They got booed the whole time almost. They loved all the attention. I heard the fan that into that fight was provoking Lakers fans when we were down 24 trying to rub it in and she actually started the fight If that's true then she totally deserves it.

I saw beer and popcorn being thrown at her and she got escorted out. Maybe next time she won't show up looking like that at a Lakers game.

There was another lady next to us who kept standing up every time Celtics scored. Really annoying. The only thing that would have helped it is if we won. Oh well. a very depressing night.
